Product Information

The product is a Model# 71265-66 fixture that is suitable for wet location applications. It comes with a mounting plate, ground screw, mounting screws, back plate, gaskets, screws, and a medium base bulb. The fixture should be connected to an outlet box and the electrical wires should be connected with connectors. The fixture has a maximum wattage rating of 60 Watts, and the glass can be replaced if needed.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker box before starting the installation.
  2. Remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware and carefully unpack the new fixture, laying out all the parts in a clear area.
  3. Attach the mounting plate to the outlet box using outlet box screws. The side of the mounting plate marked GND must face out.
  4. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2 with connectors, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. Connect the fixture’s ground wire to the outlet box’s ground wire or directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided.
  5. Place the back plate over the mounting plate and secure it with two screws.
  6. To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box, use clear silicone sealant to outline the outside of the fixture’s back plate where it meets the wall leaving a space at the bottom to allow moisture a means to escape.
  7. To replace the glass, remove the gaskets and loosen the screws to remove the cover. Insert the new glass into the fixture frame from the bottom and secure the lower cover by screwing screws until tight and reinstalling the gaskets on the lower cover.
  8. Install one medium base bulb up to 60 Watts, or CFL or LED equivalent, in accordance with the fixture specification. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING.
  9. Ensure that the installation is complete and return power to the outlet box. Test the fixture to ensure it is working correctly.
