Product Information

The product is a light fixture with item number N7526/N7527-716-L. The product comes with a mounting plate, ground screw, mounting screw, three rods (F1, F2, and F3), fixture wires (black or smooth, white or ribbed, and bare copper), and a support cable. The product is dimmable with ELV and/or LED-compatible wall dimmer switches.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Turn off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
  2. Unpack the new fixture carefully and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
  3. Loosen screws (K) to remove mounting plate (A) from canopy (J).
  4. Determine desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2 and F3) to all thread (M) on fixture body. Carefully pass wires through each rod during assembly. Secure swivels (L) onto rods (F1). Note: The swivels (L) may be adjusted if necessary.
  5. Align canopy (J) and metal plate (H) followed by lock washer (G) and metal washer (E) onto swivels (L) and secure with hex nuts (D) via wrench (C) (Not included).
  6. Attach mounting plate (A) to junction box with mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5). The side of mounting plate marked GND must face out.
  7. The support cable is provided to support the weight of the fixture while wiring. Align the fixture to the mounting plate (A) and attach the hook (N) on the end of the support cable (I) into a slot located on the mounting plate (A). Carefully allow the support cable (I) to support the weight of the fixture while wiring.
  8. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting plate (A) using green screw provided.
  9. Tuck wire connections neatly into the junction box.
  10. Place canopy (J) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (K).
  11. Turn power back on at the junction box and test the fixture.

Installation Instructions

PREPARATION (Fig. 1)

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
    • ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
  3. Loosen screws (K) to remove mounting plate (A) from canopy (J).
  4. Determine desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2 and F3) to all thread (M) on fixture body. Carefully pass wires through each rod during assembly. Secure swivels (L) onto rods (F1). Note: The swivels (L) may be adjusted if necessary.
  5. Align canopy (J) and metal plate (H) followed by lock washer (G) and metal washer (E) onto swivels (L) and secure with hex nuts (D) via wrench (C) (Not included).
  6. Attach mounting plate (A) to junction box with mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”). The side of mounting plate marked “GND” must face out.
  7. The support cable is provided to support weight of fixture while wiring. Align fixture to mounting plate (A) and attach hook (N) on the end of support cable (I) into a slot located on mounting plate (A). Carefully allow support cable (I) to support weight of fixture while wiring.
    • CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
  8. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting plate (A) using green screw provided.
  9. Tuck wire connections neatly into junction box.
    • COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
  10. Place canopy (J) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (K).

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
