FITTING YOUR PROTECTION PADS

  1. Select the correct pad – pay attention to the left/ right markings on the labels. Place against your elbow or knee to ensure it is the correct size.
  2. Use the hook and loop closure on the straps, fastening them securely around your knees or elbows. Attach securely but do not restrict blood circulation.
  3. For the wrist guards – slip your hand through the straps so the flat side faces outwards. Attach securely but do not restrict blood circulation.
  4. Ensure the protection pads stay secure whilst playing. Reattach the restraining straps if necessary, ensuring a secure and snug fit.ZINC Protection-Bike-Safety-Pads-FIG- \(2\)

CLEANING YOUR PROTECTION PADS

Surface wipe clean only. Do not use bleach. Do not machine wash. Dry at room temperature, away from heat sources.

Material:

5% Polyester/ 25% Nylon/ 20% EVA foam/15% PP/ 25% Inner cloth/ 10% PVC.

SAFETY INFORMATION

INSPECTION:

Carefully inspect the protection pads before each use. If they no longer feel secure or are showing signs of wear or damage, please discard them – as their performance may be reduced.

WARNING:

  • The protectors are not intended to provide protection in the event of a serious fall, when travelling at speeds in excess of 12kph or 7.46mph.
  • These protectors help protect against superficial grazing and minor impact.
  • Do not store in direct sunlight.
  • Adult supervision is recommended during fitting.
  • Please be aware that changes in environmental conditions such as temperature can significantly reduce the performance of the protection pads.
  • Please use the product in the manner it was intended. Any contamination, alteration to the protector, or misuse would dangerously reduce the performance of the protection pads.
  • Please fit the protective pads so the adjustable straps provide a comfortable but secure fit. Please note that no protection can offer full protection against injury. The expected service life of the protectors is 2 years! After this period, the protectors must be replaced because it might no longer perform adequately.
