HONDA EU7000iS 7000W Ultra Quiet Remote Start Stop Inverter Generator Instructions
If your Honda EU7000iS is Bluetooth equipped you will need to follow these tadeonal instructions. I have not had a Bluetooth equipped generator here to shoot a new video with so you will need to follow these write instructors. This update will only cover the additional steps needed for the Bluetooth equipped version. You will need to watch the video and do all the steps in that also.
- After you remove the fuel pump cover on top of the generator as shown in the installation video you will see 4 wires going into the fuel pump plug. The two on the le’ are the same as the nonblue tooth equipped generators shown in the install video. They are one red wire and one blue wire. You will leave these wires just as they are. The two wires on the right are only on the blue tooth equipped generators. You will need to remove those two wires from the plug. They are removed by reversing the method shown for installing the new wires in those positions in my video.
- After you have removed those two wires from the plug, take the 150 OHM resistor included in the kit and solder it between the two wires that you just removed. This is necessary to prevent you from ge2ng an E056 error code when you start the generator.
- Now remove the fuel pump from the generator as shown in the video.
- With the fuel pump out on your work bench you will see that what I referred to as a flag (due to its shape) has a fuel level sending unit on it.
- You will need to cut the flag off the assembly and remove the flag along with the fuel sending unit.
- You will now need to remove the two wires that connect the stock fuel sending unit from the assembly. This can easily be done by using a small flat screwdriver to press the like lock tab in. Look at the connectors on the float included in my kit to get a beer idea of what I am talking about.
- The rest of the installation is the same as shown in the video.
