Step 1 Plan location and Hardware · Vertical position is typically set at eye- level. · It is recommended to use at least three fasteners, one at the center and one at each end · For increased strength, align one of the mounting holes with a stud. In this example the center fastener will secured to a stud and the ends with wall anchors.

2

Step 2 Mark Holes · Once the bracket has been located, use a level to ensure correct bracket orientation and mark holes
Step 3 Drill holes · For anchor holes use drill bit Ø7/32″ (5.5mm). Hole must pierce completely through drywall. · For holes into a stud, use drill bit Ø7/64″ (3.0mm). Hole should be approximately 2.0″ deep (50mm)
3

Step 4 Install wall anchors · Gently tap wall anchors into holes ensuring the top is flush with the outer drywall surface
Step 5 Fasten bracket to wall · Using drill or screwdriver install bracket with screws. Be sure to use longer screw for stud location and shorter screws for anchor locations. · Do not over tighten!
4

Step 6 Hang display · As shown in the side-view cross section below, the display bracket (blue) must sit on top of and behind the wall bracket (green).
The display is now ready for medal installation. Note that it may be easier to install the medals before hanging the display. The French-Cleat bracket allows the display to be easily removed from the wall at any time for medal re- arranging.
