WARNING

- ALWAYS read, understand and follow all warnings and instructions printed on tow vehicle’s battery.
- ALWAYS wear safety glasses and use all safety precautions during installation.
TOOLS REQUIRED
Trim Panel Remover, Test-probe
- Open hatch, fold back or remove the rear cargo tray. A
- Remove rear threshold to gain access to the vehicle’s Tow-Plug harness. Bc
- Insert the Tow-Plug harness into the vehicle’s mating connector and lock into place. Ensure that the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place. c
WARNING
All connections must be complete for the Tow-Plug to function properly. Test
and verify installation with a test light or trailer once installed. For
initial test, reset vehicle electrical system by temporarily removing the key
from the ignition.
- Reinstall threshold, cargo trays and other items that might have been removed for Tow-Plug harness install.
Store Tow plug harness in cargo area when not in use.
