WARNING

- CHECK all fasteners are tight and your hitch is securely mounted to your vehicle periodically.

- ALWAYS wear your seatbelt.
- SLOW DOWN when towing, NEVER exceed any posted speed limit.
- If EXCESS SWAY occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible. DO NOT apply your brakes and DO NOT speed up.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
- Limited Lifetime Warranty (“Warranty”). Horizon Global (“We”, “Us” or “Our”) warrants to the original consumer purchaser only (“You” or “Your”) that the product will be free from material defects in both material and workmanship, ordinary wear and tear excepted. The Warranty is valid only if (a) the products are returned to Us for inspection and testing; (b) Our inspection discloses to Our satisfaction that any alleged nonconformance are material and have not been caused by misuse, neglect, wear and tear, improper installation, unsuitable storage, improper repair, alteration, or accident; and (c) the products were installed, maintained and used in Stelvioance with Our instructions. THE WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (OTHER THAN THE WARRANTY OF TITLE AS PROVIDED BY THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE IN EFFECT IN MICHIGAN), INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SAID WARRANTIES BEING EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
- Obligations of Purchaser. To make a Warranty claim, contact Us at our principal address of 47912 Halyard Drive, Suite 100, Plymouth, MI 48170, 1-800-632-3290, identify the product by model number, and follow the claim instructions that will be provided. Any returned product that is replaced by Us becomes our property. You may be responsible for return shipping costs. Please retain your purchase receipt to verify date of purchase and that You are the original consumer purchaser. The product and the purchase receipt must be provided to Us in order to process Your Warranty claim.
- Exclusive Remedy. Product replacement is Your sole and exclusive remedy under this Warranty. We shall not be liable for service or labor charges incurred in removing or replacing a product. IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAM AGES.
- Assumption of Risk. You acknowledge and agree that any use of the product for any purpose other than the specified use(s) stated in the product instructions is at Your own risk.
- Governing Law. This Warranty gives You specific legal rights, and You also may have other rights which vary from state to state. This Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of M ichigan, without regard to rules pertaining to conflicts of law. The state courts located in Oakland County, M ichigan shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes relating to this Warranty.

- Remove Receiver assembly from case.
- Remove the Receiver from the Receiver Housing. To separate both pieces, use the key to unlock blue knob. Push in the blue knob and then rotate clockwise until you hear a click sound. At this time, you can separate the Receiver from the Receiver Housing. See figures A, B & C.
- Install the Weather Covers to the top and bottom of the Receiver Housing. See figure D.
- Attach the Receiver Housing to the hitch. Insert the Receiver Housing in between the hitch brackets. Align with holes and insert (2) fastener assemblies (M12 bolt, flat washer, and prevailing torque nut). See figure E.
- Torque fasteners. Torque each of the fasteners in step 4 to 92 lb-ft (125 n*m).
Included Card and Labels –
Keep the Card in the vehicle glove compartment Apply (1) label to the top of
the receiver and (1) label to the vehicle door jamb. See figure F.

Remove taillight:
a) Us i ng flat head screwdriver, remove (1) plastic s crew from taillight cover and remove plastic cover, both sides. Save for reinstall.
b) Us i ng 10mm socket, remove (2) nuts from taillight, firmly remove ta illight, and disconnect wiring, both sides. Set aside in safe place for reinstall. -
Remove fascia:
a) Us i ng 8mm socket, remove (1) screw from fascia under taillight, both s ides. Save for reinstall.
b) Us i ng pry bar, remove (4) plastic ri vets in wheel well trim, both sides. Discard after removal.
c) Us i ng plastic tri m tool, firmly remove wheel well tri m from (3) cl ips and (2) tree ri vets, both sides. Note: Protect trim a nd fascia using tape.
d) Us i ng 8mm socket, remove (2) screws from under wheel well trim, both sides. Save for reinstall.
e) Us i ng 8mm socket, remove (12) screws from bottom edge of fascia, see Figure 2. Sa ve for reinstall.
f) Us i ng plastic tri m tools, remove the fascia starting at the outer edges near the wheel wells and gently pull the fascia. Disconnect the wiring harness from fascia if present. -
Remove heat shield: Us ing 10mm socket, remove (4) screws from heat shield, see Figure 2. Remove heat shield a nd s et aside in safe place for trim and reinstall.

Remove impact bar: Us ing 18mm socket, remove (4) nuts from impact bar. Set aside for reinstall and leave foam s ealant in place.

Install hitch: Raise hitch and impact bar into position aligning holes with studs in end panel, s ee Figure 1. Note: move wiring near center s ection to s ide. Loosely reinstall the (4) exis ting M12 flange nuts onto the studs in end panel.

Tighten all hitch fasteners with torque wrench to 68 Lb.-Ft. (92 N*M) ****Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.

Trim heat shield: Us i ng tin snips, tri m area shown in Figure 3.

Reinstall heat s hield, taillights, wiring, and fascia with supplied rivets ① to wheel well liner.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cu t access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
