IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

  • Before use, please read these safety warnings carefully and adhere to the following safety precautions:
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces to avoid damage to the power cord. Always store excess portion of the power cord in the compartment of the base unit.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, in a microwave, or on top of other electric appliances. Electric kettle must be operated on a flat surface.
  • Do not operate the kettle on an inclined surface. Keep the kettle where is stable and inaccessible to children, in case of children pull the power cord or knock the kettle, which may cause the kettle to turn over and burn people or damage the kettle.
  • Do not immerse cord, plug, or any other part of the kettle or base in water or other liquid to protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.
  • Do not use base components other than the one supplied. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow cooling before putting on or taking off parts and cleaning the appliance.
  • Do not dry burn without water, as this will damage the heating tube. The concealed heating element in the bottom of the kettle is protected by an automatic safety device. If your kettle is accidentally heated without being filled or is allowed to boil dry, it will automatically cool down and then turn off. If this happens, unplug the kettle, fill with cold water, and wait a few minutes before replacing it on the base and plugging in.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the control off, then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use the kettle if your hands are wet.
  • Do not insert any object into slots or holes of the kettle.
  • To avoid circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.
  • Position the kettle properly on the power base before switching on.
  • Do not fill kettle when positioned on base. Remove all moisture on the bottom of the body before placing it onto the power base.
  • Do not operate electric kettle with a damaged cord or plug, if the kettle malfunctions, or if the product has been damaged in any manner.
  • Never move the kettle and kettle base together while the unit is in use.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old.
  • Do not use for other than intended use. This appliance is intended for household and commercial use only.
  • To avoid burns and risk of personal injury, use extreme caution when carrying kettle containing hot water.
  • Do not remove the lid while water is boiling and during the brewing or process as scalding may occur.
  • Please pour the boiling water carefully and slowly to avoid scalding from the boiling water.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • Boiling water may squirt out if the kettle is too full.
  • After unpacking, dispose carefully of the plastic bags so that children and others cannot reach them.
  • Attention: Make sure the electric kettle is moved before. Unplug the power supply.

USE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Open the packing box carefully, save all packing materials inside, and read the instructions carefully to check that accessories are complete. Before using the kettle for the first time, wipe the kettle with a wet cloth and dry it with a dry cloth. Do not clean with toxic cleaners. Fill the kettle with water on full scale and pour away the water after boiling. Cycle operation twice to use the kettle. Be sure to unplug the kettle from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the kettle in water or wet, in case of leakage phenomenon; Don’t put it in the dishwasher!
  • Attention: The product can not be immersed in water, adding water can not exceed the maximum water level (the maximum capacity of the product is B00ML).

OPERATION ILLUSTRATIONS

STANDBY STATE

  • Power on, the buzzer rings, the display will be bright for 1 second, and then the display will be off, and the machine will enter the standby state.
  • Zero crossing fault &NTC failure fault & NTC dry burning fault & NTC short circuit fault; Short press the knob, cancel the fault display.
  • Press the knob briefly, the buzzer rings, and the machine enters the working state.

FAULT CODE

E0  — Zero crossing fault (SCR heating products dedicated, please check whether there is a fault in the zero crossing circuit).
E1 — Dry burn fault sensor detects a temperature of 110 degrees
E2 — Sensor failure, {the heating tube starts to heat for 4 minutes, the temperature is less than 40 degrees, it is judged as sensor failure).
E3 — Sensor short circuit.

WORKING STATE

  • The running light rotates continuously in a circle under working condition. When the water reaches the set temperature, the running light stops rotating and all running lights are on.
    • When the setting temperature is lowered, the indicator light on the display screen will turn on to the left ( rotate the running lamp every time the setting temperature is lowered by 1 °C or 1 °F ) .
    • When the setting temperature increases, the indicator light on the display screen will turn on to the right ( turn the running lamp every time the setting temperature increases by 1 °C or 1 °F ) .
  • Press the °C/°F button to switch the temperature unit to °C & °F. -6
  • Press the heat preservation button to turn on or off the heat preservation function. When the heat preservation function is turned on, the heat preservation icon will light up. (Thermal insulation is off by default).
    • When the thermal insulation function is disabled, the default thermal insulation time is 1 0 minutes.
    • When the thermal insulation function is enabled, the default thermal insulation duration is 60 minutes.
  • Hold down the heat preservation button for 1 .5 seconds to enable or disable the buzzer function. When the buzzer function is enabled, the buzzer icon lights up. (Default keep warm turn off).
  • In non-timing mode, long press the knob for 1.5 seconds to enter the timing mode.
  • In timing mode, press the knob to exit timing mode.
  • In non-timing mode, press the knob to return to standby state.
  • Rotate the knob to adjust the heating temperature.
    • Celsius: display the lowest temperature of 40°C, the highest display temperature of 100°C, each rotation change 1 °C.
    • Fahrenheit, minimum display temperature 104 ° F, maximum display temperature 212 ° F, 1 °F for each rotation.
    • Adjust the heating temperature and recalculate the working time of the keep warm function.
  • When you lift the kettle, the display screen shows “– E –”
    • Non-timing mode — lift the kettle body, the machine will stop heating and report fault of the kettle, and return to standby state after 60 seconds.
    • Timing mode: lift the kettle body, the machine stops heating, and the timing on the display screen continues to work.

HIGH ALTITUDE USERS

At higher elevations, water will boil at a lower temperature. At sea, level water boils at 100°C. If the temperature is greater than or equal to 80 degrees, the product is automatically judged to be in a plateau area if the water temperature does not rise for a period of time. Please use the following chart to know when your kettle is boiling:

OPTIMAL BREW TEMPERATURES

Follow the brew chart below to use the optimal brew temperatures for coffee, tea, and other hot drinks. Please note, since tea has a wide range of types, the tea steeping temperatures below are basic guidelines. If your tea comes with brew instructions, we recommend following their instructions.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

CLEANING

  • Clean the kettle regularly. This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts and requires little maintenance. Leave any servicing or repairs to qualified personnel.
  • Clean the outside of the base and the kettle with a damp soft cloth. Never immerse the kettle in water or other liquids.
  • Clean the inside of the kettle with dishwasher detergent and rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Do not use abrasive cleansers. After cleaning, dry the kettle and the base thoroughly.
  • Over time, the kettle may heat up but won’t boil; this may be due to scaling and mineral deposits that can build up inside the kettle depending on your use and the hardness of the water in your area. When this happens. SOUL HAND recommends it’s time for descaling. Use a scale/lime remover and follow its manufacturer’s directions.

STORAGE

  • Clean and dry all parts before storing.
  • Store the kettle in its box or in a clean, dry place.
  • Never wrap the power cord around the kettle.
  • Removable power cords should be disconnected from the base and stored properly.

LIMITED WARRANTY

One-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase.

  • This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase, is required to make a warranty claim. The product must be purchased at an authorized retailer for the warranty to be valid.
  • This warranty covers any defects in materials or the workmanship from the manufacturing process.
  • Defects that occurred due to improper connection, improper handling, or repair attempts by non-authorized persons are not covered by the warranty. The same applies to failure to comply with the use of consumables (e.g. cleaning and decalcifying agents) that do not correspond to the original specifications.
  • Routine wear parts (e.g. seals and gaskets) are excluded from the warranty.
  • Damages that are not under the responsibility of the manufacturer are not covered by the warranty. This is valid, especially for claims arising from improper use (e.g. operation with the wrong type of current or voltage).
  • The guarantee becomes void if repairs are carried out by third parties who are not authorized by the manufacturer to do so and/or if spare parts are used other than the original ones.
  • Failure to comply with any of the important safeguards listed on page 3 of this manual will void the limited warranty.

DISCARDING AND RECYCLING

Destroy packaging in accordance with local waste regulations. Card and paper are classified under recycled paper and platinum under resource recycling (potentially recyclable). This product can not be directly treated as household garbage after scrap, must be sent to the special recovery of electronic products recycling site.
The label on the instruction and package of this product has shown that it cannot be put into the trash can (cross the trash can, see the picture above).
