MO25 MOISTURE METER
USER GUIDE
Introduction
The MO25 measures moisture (%WME) in wood, brick, concrete, paper, & fabric and traces leakage inside walls, ceilings, and floors.
Description
- Contact pins (replaceable)
- Power/Hold button
- LED lamps

Operation
CAUTION: Electrode pins are extremely sharp, use care. Cover the pins with the protective cap when instrument is not in use.

Press and hold POWER button for 3 seconds to switch ON or OFF. One LED lamp flashes when the meter is ON idling. The meter automatically switches OFF after 1 minute (if reading is <5%).

Remove the protective cap to expose electrode pins.

Carefully push the pins into the material under test. Insert the pins perpendicular to wood’s fiber structure.

Take several readings in various locations for the best representation of the moisture present.

Read the LED lamps as follows:
Green LED scale indicates wood moisture from 5.0 to 12.0%.
Red LED scale indicates wood moisture from 14.0 to 40.0%. -
Press POWER/HOLD button momentarily to freeze a measurement reading. Press again to disable the Hold function.

Replace the protective cap when finished.
Battery Check and Replacement
When the unit powers up the status of the battery is indicated by the 5 LED lamps (5 lamps lit: full power; 1 lamp lit: minimum power). To replace the battery remove the Phillips head screw to access the battery compartment and then replace the 1 x 1.5VDC ‘AAA’ battery. Please secure the compartment before use.
