Operating Instructions
AC VOLTAGE DETECTION
- For low voltage testing (24 to 100V), press and hold the 24V button (5). For standard electrical work (>100Vthis is not necessary.
- Touch the probe tip (7) to the hot conductor or insert it into the hot side of the electrical outlet.
- If AC voltage is present, the detector cone will illuminate and the detector will beep.
NOTE: The detector is designed with high sensitivity. Static electricity
or other sources of energy may randomly trip the sensor. This is a normal
operation.
FLASHLIGHT
Press and hold the flashlight ON/OFF button (2) to turn on the flashlight (1).
BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Remove the end cap (3) by inserting a small screwdriver in the pocket clip (4) to release the catch.
