Before first use, apply a thin layer of oil onto the cooking plates. Close the
grill, set the thermostat to the “max” position and the timer to the “ON”
position. The red “POWER” indicator light will go on and the grill will begin
heating. When the green indicator light”READY”turns on, turn the timer to the
“OFF” position and turn off the heat.
Leave the grill to cool completely and wipe the non-stick surface of both cooking plates with a paper towel.
NOTICE
Both cooking plates are hot when the grill is in use; do not touch them; when
needed, use an oven mitt for handling the grill.
Use exclusively non-sharp grilling utensils made of non-metal materials for
grilling; avoid metal turners, knives, forks, etc.; never cut food directly on
the cooking plates.
Pre-heating the grill
Pre-heat the grill to the required temperature before each use.
Turn the adjustment knob of the top cooking plate to the “OPEN” position and
close the grill. Set the thermostat to the “MEAT” position for griddle
grilling and BBQ grilling. Set the thermostat to the “SANDWICH” position for
cooking sandwiches, toasts and panini. To warm up food, set the thermostat to
the “WARMING” position.
Set the timer to the”ON”position; the red”POWER”indicator light will go on and
the grill will begin heating. When the green “READY” indicator light goes on,
the grill is heated to the set temperature and you can start grilling.
NOTICE: If necessary, apply a thin layer of oil to the cooking plates before pre-heating the grill.
Griddle grilling without timer, thermostat in the “MEAT” position
Leave the timer in the “ON” position, do not set the time.
Open the pre-heated grill and place equally thick portions of food such as
steaks, burgers, sausages, etc. onto the bottom cooking plate.
Fold the grill so that the upper cooking plate contacts the food and grill the
food. Juice from food runs into the container during the grilling process.
To stop grilling, turn the timer to the “OFF” position; an audible signal will sound and the heating will turn off. Open the grill and remove the cooked food.
NOTICE: While grilling, the green “READY” indicator light will alternately go on and off depending on the thermostat mode.
Griddle grilling with timer, thermostat in the “MEAT” position
Open the pre-heated grill, place food inside and turn the timer to the desired
time in the range of 5 to 30 minutes. The timer will start to measure the set
time; when the set time elapses, an audible signal will sound and the heating
will turn off automatically.
Cooking sandwiches, toasts and panini, thermostat in the “SANDWICH”
position

cooking plate. Fold the grill so that the upper cooking plate contacts the
bread and cook the bread.
Warming up food, thermostat in the “WARMING” position
Open the pre-heated grill and place the food to be warmed up onto the
bottom cooking plate. Fold the grill so that the upper cooking plate contacts
the food and warm up the food.
Setting the height of the upper cooking plate
To prepare tender meat, fish, food containing cheese, etc., set the height
by locking the upper cooking plate using the height adjustor so that the upper
cooking plate does not contact the food being grilled.
BBQ grilling, thermostat in the “MEAT” position
Press the button and open the grill completely.
Pre-heat the open grill and place food onto both cooking plates for example
chicken, variously thick steaks, meat with bones, seafood, vegetables, fruit,

Cleaning
Always allow the grill to cool before cleaning.
Remove the drip tray and wash it under running water with detergent; the
container is dishwasher safe.

clean under running water with detergent. Use a soft sponge or dish brush with
plastic bristles, etc. to clean the cooking plates with non-stick coating.

grill.
If needed, clean the outer stainless steel surfaces of the grill using a

the grill with a damp sponge cloth and leave to dry.

Do not wash the cooking plates in dishwasher this could damage the
integrated heating coils! Never use abrasive cleaning agents, aggressive
chemicals, sharp objects, steel brushes, scourers, etc. to clean the cooking
plates. When cleaning, make sure that water does not enter the grill when the
