NOTICE

  • Never heat the coffee maker when empty-always fill the bottom section with water.
  • Do not use the coffee maker for preparing any drink other than espresso (e.g. cocoa, roasted grain beverages, instantcoffee,etc.).
  • Do not disassemble the coffee maker before it has entirely cooled down.
  • Regularly check the funnel, the silicone seal and the filter.
  • Regularly check thesafetyvalveforfunctioning. Push on the hole in thecentreofthe safety valve inside the coffee maker using a suitable metal object;the ball In the centre of the valve must spring.
  • If any part of the coffee maker is not functioning, do not repair it you?elf; instead contact a TESCOMA service centre-for their list please go to www.tescoma.com.
  • Regularly clean the central tube -remove the silicone seal and the filter from the upper section of the coffee maker and flush the inside of the central tube with water.
  • Do not fill thewatervessel with any liquid other than clean cold water.
  • When handling a hot coffee maker, touch only thesafe parts, i.e. the handle and the knob.
  • Store the coffee maker dry-lightly screw the base and the upper section of the coffee maker together before storage, do not store them tightly screwed together.

MAINTENANCE

Wash the coffee maker under warm running water; avoid using metal tools, aggressive chemicals and sand-based agents for deaning. Do not wash the coffee maker in dishwashe.

PRACTICAL HINTS

Do not use too finely ground coffee to avoid filter dogging.
