PAUSE COOKING FUNCTION
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Only lift the lid by its handle. Be extremely careful when handling the glass
lid while it is hot. Always use oven gloves. For guidance refer to the time
and power instructions provided in the recipe book.
Avoid touching any surface of the Air Fryer during operation. The air inside
the cooking dome can reach temperatures of up to 250˚C and may
cause severe burns. Please note the Air Fryer will require time to cool down
even after being switched off.
THAW SETTING
The Air fryer has a “Thaw setting” that should be used to defrost foods. This
is clearly indicated on the temperature dial.
Please Note:
Always ensure food is adequately defrosted before cooking. The cooking
duration depends on the size and weight and nature of the food to be cooked.
Most meat, for example, comes with a recommended cooking time which should be
used as a guide only. As the Air fryer cooks quicker than conventional ovens
you may need to allow less time to achieve the desired outcome. To determine
if the food is cooked, use a cooking thermometer. Alternatively, pierce the
food with a fork or skewer. You can check tender-ness of vegetables by
piercing with a knife. Ensure food is hot inside before serving.
CAUTION
- Do not attempt to wash any of the glass components until it cools down to room temperature.
- If you pour cold water on the glass while it is still hot, it could cause the glass to crack and/or break.
- Do not place the lid on or close to any flammable or combustible items. It may cause fire or explosion.
IMPORTANT TIPS
- Don’t operate the unit with other major appliances in the same power socket. You risk tripping your distribution board or fusing the circuit.
- Ensure that the electrical plug is properly plugged into the outlet.
- Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool before washing.
- Moisture may build up inside the Air fryer when cooked food is not removed immediately after the cooking time has finished.
WARNING:
Use the Air fryer in a household or similar environment such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments.
- Farm / Guest houses.
- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential environments.
