A Few Things Before You Start

Workbench Parts

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Before beginning, an adult must install fresh alkaline batteries into the drill and chop saw. Here’s how:

  1.  Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included), remove the screws and battery compartment covers from under drill and chop saw.
  2.  Install three (3) fresh 1.5V AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries (not included) into each tool, making sure the (+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartments.
  3.  Replace the compartment covers and tighten the screws.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
An adult must install fresh alkaline batteries in the work light should the batteries need replacing. Here’s how:

  1.  Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) remove the screw and battery compartment cover from the side of the work light’s handle.
  2.  Install three (3) 1.5V AG13 (LR44) alkaline batteries (not included)making sure the (+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
  3.  Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw. Before playing with the work light, make sure to remove the pull tab.

ASSEMBLY

Prep the Storage Table

Add the Storage Table to the Left Leg

Add the Work Table to the Left Leg
Insert one O-Ring (I) into the side post on the Work Table (E) first. Then, insert the side post into the opening on the Left Leg (B).

Add the Right Leg
Attach the Right Leg (C). Insert the second O-Ring (I) into the post on the Work Table (E) and then insert the post into the opening on the Right Leg. Lastly, slide the Storage Table’s (F) slots into both round posts inside the Right Leg.

Secure the Legs
Stand up the workbench to secure the legs to the Storage Table. Insert two Screws into each side, making sure it goes through the Storage Table Inserts

Attach the Caps
Place the Caps (H) to the sides of the legs to secure the legs to the Work Table. Then, secure with two Screws on each side.

Snap the Front Bar
Snap the Front Bar (D) to the front of the legs

Top it
Place the Backboard (A) to legs on top. Then, attach the side hangers to the sides of the Backboard. To add the hooks, match the shapes to the shapes on the Backboard.

Flipping the Work Table
To flip the Work Table, pull out the knob on the side and slightly rotate it so it is out of the way while the table turns. Flip the table to the other side, making sure it is flat and aligned with the leg’s wall.Then, slightly rotate the knob to release it and push it back in to secure the table.

Add Chop Saw
Find the lever inside the large opening on the right side of the Work Table and push it toward the table front. Insert the base of the Chop Saw into the opening, release the lever, and press down on the saw until it snaps into place.

USING THE CHOP SAW

  1.  Release the head of the Chop Saw by pushing the button near the back of the saw on the left side and lifting the saw head.
  2. Press the grip on the saw handle as you bring the saw head down and it will make realistic chop saw noises.
  3. Once you’ve finished using the saw, lock it in place until you want to use it once more. To do so, push the saw head down until you hear a click.
    NOTE: When replacing the battery, remove the chop saw from the table by pressing the workbench lever behind the tool. Lift the tool out and then release the lever.

DRILL

  1. Add a drill bit to the drill by placing the end of the bit into the hole in the front of the drill and pressing it firmly into place (Fig. 1). To remove it, tug on the bit firmly.
  2.  Line the drill up on the job you’re working on by using the LED laser guide.
  3.  Press the trigger and the drill will make realistic sounds. The drill bit even changes direction by pressing inward the button on the side of the drill (Fig. 2).

AUTO SHOP

  • GEARS: Install the gears into the left side of the engine using the screwdriver or drill (Fig. 3).
  • ENGINE INTAKE: Set the engine intake atop the engine with the air aps pointing toward the left side and install it using two bolts (Fig. 4).
  • VALVE COVER: Remove the two bolts holding the valve cover by using the drill and the appropriate bit (Fig. 5).
  • SPARK PLUGS: Install the spark plugs onto the engine by matching the shape of the plug base to the shape on the engine.
  • They will snap in place (Fig. 6). Once you’ve built your engine, it is time to take it for a run! Attach the Phillips bit to the drill. Place the end of the bit over the top bolt on the engine and then press the trigger on the drill. It will rev up the engine (Fig. 7).

  •  Clean the unit with a slightly damp cloth (cold water) and mild soap if necessary.
  •  Real tools are not recommended for use with this unit or accessories.

DISPOSAL
Disassemble and dispose of equipment in such a manner that no hazardous conditions such as, but not limited to, small parts and sharp edges exist at the time the equipment is discarded. Battery Safety Information. This is serious!

  •  Keep these instructions for future reference.

  •  Requires 3 “AG13” (LR44) alkaline batteries (included) and 6 “AAA” (LR03) alkaline batteries (not included). (Rechargeable batteries may be substituted.)
    The voltage of a fully-charged, rechargeable battery is often lower than that of a fresh alkaline battery. Therefore, it is recommended that alkaline batteries be used instead of rechargeable batteries for best performance and longer playtime.

  •  Install batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).

  •  To avoid battery leakage:

    1.  Follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s installation instructions.
    2.  Do not mix old and new batteries.
    3.  Do not mix standard (carbon-zinc), alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Do not mix different brands of batteries. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
    4.  When toy is not used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.
    5.  Remove dead or exhausted batteries from the product.
    6.  Dispose of dead batteries properly; do not bury. Do not dispose of batteries in fire as they may leak or explode.
  •  Make sure cover is properly installed on unit at all times.

  •  Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

  •  Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before recharging.

  •  Charging of rechargeable batteries should be done by an adult.

  •  The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
    NOTE: If the unit stops working or doesn’t work as it should, remove the batteries for a few minutes and then re-insert them. If there is still a problem, install new batteries.

WARNING
This product contains a button-cell battery. A button cell battery can cause severe or fatal injuries in as little as two hours if it is swallowed or placed inside any part of the body. Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
