User Guide
430098 Bike Lift Strong
Bicycle lift for hanging a bicycle from the ceiling.
For bicycles with 26″-29″ wheels.
Safety notice: follow these instrucions carefully to ensure proper
installation.

personal injury due to improper installation. Keep away from children: Not a
child’s toy, may cause injury. Keep away from gas, water and electricity pipes
during installation. Lifting capacity 57 kg max.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
- NEVER hang excess weight onto the lift.
- NEVER lift anything – including your friends – that would cause injury if the load were to become unstable.
- NEVER install the hoist in high traffic areas.
TOOLS NEEDED FOR THE JOB (not included):
drill ø 10 mm, cross-head screwdriver, 2×17 mm wrenches, 1×10 mm wrench,
measuring tape.
PARTS INCLUDED:
- 2 Nylon straps
- 2 Metal brackets
- 2 Lift assembly
- 4 Screws + nuts
- Hook pulleys
- 4 Wood screws
- 4 Concrete screws
- 1 rope
- 1 rope cleat
The mounting plates can be attached to the ceiling or to the ceiling girder.
GARAGE-LIFT VAN ALSO BE USED FOR ROOF BOXES, AND LADDERS AS WELL WITH OR
WITHOUT STRAPS. Metal brackets must be fixed to the garage ceiling or to a
wooden beam. If you prefer, the garage lift may be mounted to a board, then
the
board can be mounted to ceiling joists. Use the right screws depending on the
type of ceiling (wood/ concrete). If the ceiling is made of bricks,
plasterboard or else, find the proper screws.
Examples:
- ROOF BOX 220 cm long, the suggested distance is 180 cm
- 300 cm LONG LADDER, the suggested distance is 240 cm.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
- When the distance between the pulleys has been decided, fix the 2 metal brackets to the ceiling, using the proper screws (Fig.1).
- Guide the rope through the individual components of the garage lift as shown in Fig. 2.
- Fix the lifting units on the metal brackets previously fixed to the ceiling (fig.3). A the holes of the brackets with the holes of the lift units, screw them using the screws with nuts.
- Mount the rope cleat to the wall along a stud with the remaining two wood screw or to the wall using concrete screws. (fig.4)

TO LOWER THE LIFT
Pull the rope back towards the pulley while maintaining tension on the rope.
Slowly let out the rope as you lower the load. If you let the rope out too
quickly the rope lock will be engaged to prevent dropping it. When load is
down, remove it from the hooks.
Raise the hooks back up to the ceiling and wrap the rope around the cleat.
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean the item with a damp cloth.
STORAGE
Do not store the item outdoors. The bike lift can be stored in a clean and dry
place in the original box.
