PIR SENSOR OPERATION
The 86/215 detects occupant motion by comparing the infrared energy (heat)
emitted by moving objects with the background space.
APPLICATIONS
- The 86/215 Series PIR sensor is designed specifically for use in commercial and industrial applications such as warehouses, distribution centers, shop areas, parking garages, and assembly.
- PIR Lens supports mounting heights up to 21′ (0-7m). It provides 360° coverage. Special covers are available to adapt this detection pattern for use in aisles.
