SAFETY INFORMATION
  • Carefully check the heat pad before each use, if you notice wear or damage.
  • Do not use if you notice wear, damage or signs of improper use on the device, the switch or the cables or if the device is not working.
  • Before connecting the device to your power supply, please ensure that the supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your mains supply.
  • Do not fold or crease the heat pad during use.
  • Neither pierce the pad with, nor attach safety pins or other spiky or sharp objects to the pad.
  • Do not use the device on children or persons who are disabled, asleep or insensitive to heat (persons who cannot react on overheating).
  • Children below the age of 3 years are not allowed to use this device, because they are not able to react on overheating
  • The device must not be used by young children over the age of 3 years, unless the control unit has been adjusted accordingly by its parents or legal guardians or unless the child has been well instructed how to use the control unit properly.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Never use the pad unsupervised.
  • The device is only for private use and is not to be used in hospitals.
  • Do not fall asleep while the heat pad is switched on.
  • Prolonged use of the heated cushion at a high setting could lead to skin burns.
  • Do not cover the pad with any other cushions. The control switch should not be covered or placed on or below the pad while the unit is in operation.
  • Do not sit on the heat pad. Instead, rest the pad on or against the part of the body to be treated. The intended use of the is to treat only back and neck.
  • Never touch a heat pad that has fallen into water. Unplug the unit from the mains outlet immediately.
  • Keep the mains lead away from hot surfaces.
  • Never carry, pull or turn the heat pad by the mains lead and do not let the lead get tangled.
  • Do not use the heat pad when wet and only use it in dry environments (not in the bathroom or similar environments).
  • The controls and leads must not be exposed to any kind of moisture.
  • If a fault occurs, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
  • Repairs must only be carried out by an authorized specialist dealer or other suitably qualified personnel.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • A damaged power supply cable must be replaced with a power cable of the same type.
  • Heat pad may only be operated with the control unit (SS02) supplied.
  • When storing the heat pad, allow it to cool down before folding.
  • Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult your doctor before using the heat pad.
  • Do not use the heat pad on parts of the body that are swollen, injured or inflamed.
  • Should you experience persistent pains in the muscles and joints, please inform your doctor. Persistent pains can be a symptom of serious illness.
  • If you experience any pain or discomfort while using the unit, stop using it immediately.

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE

Inspect the product for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.

OPERATION
  1. Connect the power plug to a suitable power socket.
  2. Switch on the product.

NOTE

Setting 1 is recommended for continuous use.
This heating pad is not designed for use in hospitals or for commercial purposes.
This heating pad must not be used with babies, toddlers, heat sensitive people, disabled people or animals.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF FUNCTION

The heating pad switches off automatically after approx. 90 minutes of continuous operation.
Switch off the heating pad (0) or unplug the power plug from the power socket if you are not going to use the heating pad after the automatic switch-off.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Heat pad

  • Before cleaning the pad, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down for at least ten minutes.
  • The heating pad is equipped with a detachable cable. Disconnect the plug and remove the cable from the heating pad.
  • The pad can be machine washed at 30° in a delicate programme or by hand gently. The best way to do this is to put the heating pad in a bath with lukewarm water and some mild detergent and then gently squeeze it out.
  • Rinse the heating pad several times to remove all the detergent.
  • Store the unit in a clean and dry place, laid out flat with nothing covering or resting on top of it.
  • Only use the appliance once it is completely dry.
DISPOSAL

Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste.
Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.
To return your used device, please use the return and collection system or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environment safe recycling.

SERVICE AND WARRANTY
  • If there are any other questions or the machine is not working properly, please contact info@seranova.nl or the selling party.
  • Each product comes with a 1-year warranty. The customer must have a purchase receipt for this. The warranty does not cover: damage caused by incorrect use or repair; wear and tear of parts; defects that the customer was aware of at the time of purchase; defects caused by the customer’s own fault; damage by third parties.
