PREFACE

1. Read this Quick Start Guide before starting Set-up.
2. Then, carefully follow the Instructions, heeding all Warnings.
3. Do Not remove the TV back cover or block the TV ventilation openings.
4. Do Not use the TV near water or a heat Source.
5. Do not pinch or cut the Power Cord.

The product and illustrations in this user’s manual is only for explanation purposes and may vary depending on model.

WARNING

Never place a television set in an unstable location. A television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularty to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:

• Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the television set.
• Only using furniture that can safety support the television set.
• Ensuring the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting fumiture
• Not placing the television set on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the fumiture and the television set to a suitable support.
• Not placing the television set on cloth or other materials that may be located between the television set and supporting furniture.
• Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.

If your existing television set is being retained and relocated, the same considerations as above should be applied.

The plug or appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconned device shal remain readily operable.

To avoid damaging the television set please observe the following safety instructions during setup and use.

Assembly

Stand Assembly ( optional)

1. To avoid damage, place the screen on a soft flat surface.
2. Attach the stand to the underside of the television set by means of the two screws provided.

Wall Bracket Assembly (optional)

1. Attach the wall bracket to the wall.
2. To avoid damage, place the screen on a soft flat surface.
3. If necessary, remove the stand.
4. Attach the television set to the wall bracket by means of the VESA mounting.

NOTE

• Make sure that the mounting screws (M4) project into thet elevision set by no more than 8 mm. Longer screws can damage the set.
• A wall bracket can be bought separately. Product information available at http://halter.caratec.de.
• Use only a wall bracket suitable for the size and weight of the television set.
• Follow the instructions for the assembly of the wall bracket.

Control Buttons

The control buttons are on the backside of the housing. They control the most important functions.

Connections to the television set

External devices or sources can be connected at the rear of the television set.

Remote Control

Place batteries in the remote control

1. Open the battery compartment of the remote control.
2. Insert the batteries provided (AAA, 2 x 1.5 volts).

It provides guides related to TV manipulation, broadcasting, content utilization, device connection, smart functions, settings and problem solving so that user can refer to it when using TV. You can watch the manual at the same time while watching TV or running the app. You can easily view the user’s manual using the Description menu or Magic Explorer function.
