PLACE MOBILE DEVICE

TO POWER UP YOUR CLOCK

Plug the adaptor to an AC wall outlet and then the DC jack to the back of your clock. The time display is turned on (at Hi-dim brightness). Press once to turn the time display to low brightness or press twice to turn it off. Remarks: Make sure the correct adaptor is being connected. Incorrect chargers or adaptors may cause damage, the wireless charger may malfunction or may not charge your phone.

TO INSTALL A BACKUP BATTERY

Your clock requires one new CR2032 lithium battery (not included) to provide backup power to it in the event of a temporary power interruption.

1.  Place your clock face down on a flat and soft surface.
2.  Use a coin to turn the battery cover at the bottom of your unit as indicated.
3.  Insert one new CR2032 lithium battery into the battery compartment with “+” polarity facing upward.
4.  Replace, turn and lock the battery cover as indicated.

Remarks:

• Do not use old or used batteries.
• Do not use a rechargeable battery.
• The new battery is recommended for optimal usage of this clock.

If AC power is interrupted and backup batteries are being used, the time and all settings of your unit will be kept . The alarm, wireless charging and USB charging do not function and time display does not light up.

TO USE THE WIRELESS CHARGER

This function only works with mobile devices that support Qi-compatible wireless charging technology.

1.  Make sure your clock is connected with the supplied adaptor.
2.  Center your mobile device with the backside down on the marked charging target circle. Please observe that the wireless charging indicator is staying on (not flashing or off).
3. If your mobile device is not charging, the charging indicator is flashing or off. Pick up your mobile device and reposition it again.
4. If you use a metal case on your mobile device, make sure you take that off before charging.
5.  Do not put any foreign object (metal) on the charging target circle any time or under the mobile device during charging.

CAUTIONS: –

1.  If you place a mobile device on the wireless charging surface for an extended period, the wireless charger may overheat and stop charging.
2.  Do not cover or block the heat release vent at the back of the clock.
3.  When the mobile device is fully charged, remove it from the wireless charging surface.
4.  Do not place foreign materials, such as metal objects, magnets, magnetic stripe cards, paper clips etc. between the mobile device and the wireless charging surface. The mobile device may not charge properly or may be damaged due to overheating.
5.  Wireless charging may not work properly if you attach a thick case to your mobile device.
6.  If you connect a charger to the mobile device during wireless charging, the wireless charging feature will be unavailable.

TO SET TIME AND SNOOZE DURATION

1.  Press and hold , the hour digits flash. Press or to set the hours. Press and hold or will accelerate setting.
2.  Press once again, the minute digits flash. Press or to set the minutes. Press and hold or will accelerate setting.
3.  Press once again, press or to select “24Hr” “12Hr”. A LED of PM indicator will appear to indicate the afternoon time in the 12Hr time format. There is no AM indicator.
4.  Press once again, “n05” flash, press or to set the snooze duration (from 5 min to 60 min).
5.  Press again to confirm. The set time is displayed.
   Note : the clock exits the set mode when no key is pressed in approximately 10 seconds.

TO SET ALARM 1 AND ALARM 2 (default alarm time at 6:00 AM)

1.  Press and hold, LED and Alarm 1’s hour flash, press or to set the desired hour. Press and hold or to accelerate setting.
2.  Press once again, the minute digits “00” flash. Press or to set desired minutes. Press and hold or to accelerate setting.
3.  Press once again, LED and Alarm 2’s hour flash. Repeat Step 1 to 2 above to set Alarm 2.
4.  During setting alarm, press once to store your alarm setting.
   Note : the clock exits the alarm set mode when no key is pressed in approximate 10 seconds.

TO TURN ON OR OFF ALARM 1 AND 2

1.  Press once to activate Alarm 1, LED appears.
2.  Press once again to activate Alarm 2, LED appears.
3.  Press once again to activate both Alarms 1 and 2. Both LED and LED appear.
4.  Press once again to deactivate both alarms (both LED and LED disappear).

TO STOP AND RESET THE ALARM TO COME ON THE NEXT DAY

When alarm 1 or 2 is sounding, the related alarm icon flashes. Press once to stop the alarm and reset it to come on the following day. After that, the alarm will come on the next day.

THE SNOOZE FUNCTION (default snooze duration is 5 minutes)

When an alarm is sounding, press once, the alarm will be silenced momentarily and come on again after the set snooze duration. Note: if your second alarm activates while the first alarm is sounding or it is in snooze mode, the second alarm overrides the first alarm (the first alarm is reset to come on the next day).

TO USE THE HI-LO-OFF DIMMER
At normal time display mode, press one at a time to adjust the brightness (HI / LO / OFF) of the display.

TO CHARGE MOBILE DEVICES WITH THE USB PORT
Connect the USB charging cable (not included) of your mobile device to the A-type USB port at the back of the unit, then connect the
other end to your mobile phone. The clock will charge the mobile phone automatically.

Remarks:

1.  Make sure the original cable of your mobile phone to be used for charging
2.  Make sure the cable conforms to USB standard.
3.  Tablet charging are not applicable, as the energy requirement might be more than the clock.
4.  Charging one mobile device by the USB port and another mobile device by the wireless charger at the same time will reduce the charging efficiency and extend the charging time. NOTE: it is not possible to charge the same device together both via USB and wireless.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your clock displays the wrong time or does not function properly, which may be caused by electrostatic discharge or other interference. Unplug the DC jack at the back of the unit, turn the battery cover and take out the battery. Then re-plug the DC jack and reinstall batteries by observing the correct +/- polarity. Your unit will be reset to default settings and you need to set it again.

CARE OF YOUR PRODUCT

1.  Place your unit on a stable surface, away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat or moisture.
2.  Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with water. Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
3.  Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
4.  If the unit is not to be used for a prolonged period, such as a month or longer, remove the batteries to prevent possible corrosion. Should the battery compartment become corroded or dirty, clean the compartment thoroughly and replace the batteries.
5.  Do not open the inner back case or tamper with any components of this clock.
6.  Do not plug in any other AC/AC or AC/DC adaptor with incorrect specifications or voltage.
7.  This symbol indicates that this product, and any batteries, should not be disposed of in normal household waste but taken to an appropriate local recycling center, where available. Never throw batteries in a fire or attempt to open outer casing.

BATTERIES SAFETY WARNING

1.  Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced, please make sure to respect polarities.
2.  Replace only with the same type CR2032 lithium for system backup.
3.  Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
4.  Do not ingest the battery, chemical burn hazard.
5.  Keep new and used batteries away from children.
6.  If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and contact after sales center, you can find a list on the web page www.newmajestic.com.
