1. Device Installation and Connection:

1) Installation:

(1) Ceiling Mounting
(2) Wall Mounting

2) System Configuration Diagram:

Connect the Zowie PTZ to a network with router or DHCP
capability using a network cable. Connect power supply via DC power
adapter or PoE.

3) Connect Network:

Connect the Zowie PTZ to a network with a router or DHCP
capability using a network cable.

4) Connect Power Supply:

DC: After the DC power adapter supplies power
to the Zowie PTZ, the status indicator will light up.
PoE: The Zowie PTZ can also be powered over
Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) without a power adapter. If powered by PoE, a
network cable must be connected to a PoE network switch with at
least CAT5e cable.

Zowie PTZ provides different ways to log in to the web control
interface including mDNS, IP Address, Hotspot, Device Discover, and
Failsafe IP. Use the provided username and password for login.

(3)LoginZowiePTZbyHotspot You can connect to ZowiePTZ directly without the need of a network cable or WiFi network. Connect your mobile device to the hotspot of ZowiePTZ, and it is on by default. The initial password and name of the hotspot are on the back of ZowiePTZ. After connecting to the hotspot, enter http://170.128.88.1 in the browser to log into the wbe console, when connecting to the hotspot, your cell phone may indicate that there is no network, this is normal,pleasecontinuetoconnect.

(5)FailsafeIP When the connected network does not have DHCP function or when ZowiePTZ is directly connected to the computer via a network cable, or other unknown errors occur, the IP of ZowiePTZwillchangetoafailsafeIP(192.168.5.168).Pleaseadd192.168.5.xnetworksegment toyourcomputertologinthewebcontrolinterface.Fordetailedconfiguration,pleasereferto theusermanual.

1TallyIndicator
WhentheZowiePTZ’sTallylightissetinAutomodeandtheencodingmodeisNDIencoding,if theNDIencodingisoutputingtootherNDIreceivers(e.g.vMix,OBS,etc.) ZowiePTZmodifiesthe color of the Tally light according to whether the receiver switches to ProgramMode(PGM) orPreviewMode(PVM).

4)Workingmode
(1)NDImode ZowiePTZ have to two kinds of encoding mode, normal encoding mode and NDI encoding mode. It supports up to 4k30 output and encoding; supports encoding RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT andNDI(HX/HX2/HX3)streams. To switch to NDI encoding mode, please login to the web control interface and click “Settings->System->NDI”tomakesureNDIisactivated.
After activation, please login to the web control interface, and click “Settings->System>NDI”toclicktheNDIbuttonandreboottoenableNDIencodingmode.

6.LocalStreaming
