Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  1. Read the product instruction manual carefully before
    installing.

  2. Ensure all components are included and in good condition.

  3. Connect the power supply to the monitor.

  4. If connecting to a network, use the appropriate port at the
    rear of the monitor.

Operation Guide

  1. Press the Power on/off key to switch on/off the monitor.

  2. Use the Keys and Knob to navigate menus, adjust values, and

Basic Operations

Using the Main Menu

Select the

on-screen key to access [MAIN MENU]

and perform operations and settings.

Setting the system time 1. Select the system time area to enter the [Date time Setup] menu; 2. Or access [Main Menu] [Monitor Setup][Time Setup];
Set the system time according to your local time.

Changing System Language 1. Access [Main Menu] [Maintain] and enter the password; 2. Select [Language] to select the required system language.
Setting the Minimum Alarm Volume 1. Enter [Main Menu] [Maintain] (Maintenance) and input
the password; 2. Enter [Alarm Setup] [Min. Alm Volume] to set the
minimum alarm volume (range: 0-5).

Setting Alarm Volume 1. Enter [Main Menu] [Option Setup] [Alm Vol] (Alarm
Volume) to set the alarm volume (range: X-6, where X is the minimum alarm volume). 2. Select the alarm volume icon to set the alarm volume (range: X-6, where X is the minimum alarm volume).
FHR Volume Setup 1. Enter [Main Menu] [Option Setup] [FHR Vol] (FHR volume)
to set up FHR volume; 2. Select FHR volume in the pop-up list (options: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).
When it is set to 0, the FHR volume icon changes to .
Key Volume Setup 1. Enter [Main Menu] [Option Setup]; 2. Select [Key Vol] (Key Volume) to adjust it (options: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6).

Basic Operations

Alarm Limit You can set up the alarm limits for all alarm levels with the same method. Here FHR1 is taken as an example: 1. Select the FHR1 parameter area; 2. Select [FHR1 Alarm Setup] in the pop-up [FHR1 Setup] window to enter the FHR1 alarm setup menu
Alarm Delay 1. Enter [Main Menu] [Maintain] and input the password; 2. Enter [Alarm Setup]; 3. Select [Alarm Delay Time] and select an appropriate delay
time on the pop-up menu.
Patient Management 1. Select patient information area or select [Patient Management] on-screen key. 2. In the pop-up menu, go to admit the patient, modify the
patient information and discharge the patient . Changing screens 1. Select [Screens] on-screen key; 2. Or access [Main Menu] and select [Screens] How to save user default settings: 1. Access [Main Menu], select [Maintain] and enter the
password;

1. Select [Save Current As User Config] to save current settings.

How to use factory adult/pediatric/neonate default settings:
1.Access [Main Menu][Monitor Setup] [Restore Default Configuration]; 2.Select [Adopt Factory Default Adu Config], [Adopt Factory Default Ped Config] or [Adopt Factory Default Neo Config], the alarm limit will restore to the factory default settings.

How to start timed monitoring

1. Select the timed monitoring information area on the screen

2. Or select [Timed Monitor] on-screen key;

3. Enter the [Timed Monitor] menu to set the related

parameters.

How to select score:
1.Enter [Main Menu] [Monitor Setup] [Print Setup]; 2.Or select print icon on icon area. 3.Select [Score Select] to show the scores on the case report. 4.Select [Score Criterion] to select scoring criterion you use (options: [KREBS], [Fischer], [Advanced Fischer], [NST]).

Printing
Thermal print head
Paper compartment lock 1. Unlock the paper compartment with your right hand and open the compartment door outwards; 2. Put new record paper into paper slot with the grid side facing up and top of the paper (210) toward the left of the monitor; 3. Pull the paper through top of the paper roller until it reaches out of the opening, and put the paper upright; 4. Press down the door. Make sure the door is properly locked.

Printing
Real-time Printing Real-time printing means the printing triggered by pressing the print key on the front panel during real-time monitoring.
How to print fetal waveform during real-time monitoring: 1.During real-time monitoring, press the print key on the front panel and enter the [Patient Info & Fischer Grade] window; 2.Confirm the patient information and score results and select [Confirm]. The monitor starts to print the fetal waveform according to the speed set in [Real Speed] and the time set in [Real Time]. 3.To stop printing during printing process, just press the print key on the front panel or select the [Print] on-screen key. If [Report] is set to [ON], the monitor will output the score report immediately and then stop printing; if [Report] is set to [OFF], the monitor will stop printing immediately.
How to print the fetal waveform under frozen waveform status: 1. Under frozen waveform status, press the print key on the front panel and enter the [Patient Info & Fischer Grade] window; 2. Confirm the patient information and score results and select [Confirm]. The monitor will start to print the frozen fetal waveform from the very left waveform on current screen according to the time length set in [Freeze Time]. 3. If the [Report] is set to [ON], the score report will be printed after frozen fetal waveform.

Stored Patient Case Printing: Stored patient case printing means the printing triggered by pressing the print key on the front panel and enter patient case review interface.
How to print stored patient case: 1. Access [Case List] window; select a certain patient case and enter [Patient Review] window; 2. Select [Load] and enter the patient case review window; 3. Press the print key on the front panel or select the [Print] on-screen key and enter the [Patient Info & Fischer Grade] window; 4. Confirm the patient information and score results and select [Confirm]. The monitor will start to print the fetal waveform from the very left waveform on current screen according to the time length set in [Freeze Time].

Battery

The monitor is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery. When an AC power supply is connected, the battery is charged automatically until it is fully charged. In the event of unexpected power outage, the system automatically uses the battery to supply power, thus to avoid interruption of device operation. After grid power supply is cut off, the battery indicator turns on.

To understand the battery icon:

indicating the battery is fully charged.

indicating moderate battery power.

·

indicating low battery power.

·

indicating critically low battery power, please charge the battery immediately.

·

indicating no battery installed or damaged battery.
