Product Usage Instructions

INSTALLATION GUIDE (RECESSED)
- Before commencing installation or maintenance, ensure electricity is switched off at the mains.
- Remove existing downlight and disconnect old transformer OR for new installations mark and cut out a hole in ceiling (118mm for C12, 158mm for C16, 199mm for C20).
- Set the desired power output with the “selector switch” on the back of the driver.
- Connect the driver plug into a plug base.
- Connect the fitting to the driver and set the desired colour output on the CCT switch.
- Carefully bend spring clips upwards and install new LED downlight
INSTALLATION GUIDE (SURFACE MOUNT)
- Before commencing installation or maintenance, ensure electricity is switched off at the mains.
- Remove the spring clips on the fitting and attach the fixing plate.
- Feed your input wire through the center hole of the ceiling mount kit, and affix onto your installation surface with approproate fixing methods.
- If you are running conduit into the ceiling mount kit, remove the side knockouts.
- Connect the driver plug into a plug base.
- Set the desired power output with the “selector switch” on the back of the driver.
- Connect the fitting to the driver and set the desired colour output on the CCT switch.
- Secure the safety wire and clip onto the fixing plate.
- Install the downlight with the fixing plate into the ceiling mount kit until an audible click is heard, indicating that the downlight is properly secured.
WARNINGS
- Electrical equipment/work shall be performed by Qualified Tradespeople.
- If components are damaged, it shall be replaced by Qualified Tradespeople to avoid and Hazards.
Insulation Distance: Refer to AS3000
- HCB (Height clearance to building element) Minimum distance as specified by the luminaire manufacturer between the top of the luminaire and any building element above it.
- MIC (Minimum insulation clearance) Minimum distance as specified by the luminaire manufacturer between the top of the recessed luminaire and the building insulation above it.
- SCB (Side clearance to building element) Minimum distance between the side of the recessed luminaire and any building element as specified in AS/NZS 3000, or as specified by the luminaire manufacturer.
- SCI (Side clearance to insulation) Minimum distance as specified by the luminaire manufacturer between the recessed luminaire and any building insulation.
- SCG (Side clearance to auxiliary equipment (control gear (CG))
NOTE: The LED driver Must sit on top of insulation and MUST NOT be covered.
