Product Usage Instructions

Wireless Thermo-Hygro Sensor Setup

  1. Remove the battery door.
  2. Slide the [ CHANNEL ] switch to choose a channel.
  3. Insert 2 x AA size batteries into the battery compartment following the polarity mark.
  4. Close the battery door.

Note

  • Assign different channels to different sensors if pairing multiple sensors.
  • To change the channel, remove batteries or reset the unit.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, rain, or snow exposure.

Pairing Wireless Sensors with the Console

The console will automatically search and connect to your wireless sensor(s). Once paired successfully, sensor(s) signal strength and weather information will display on the console.

Resetting the Sensor

In case of malfunction, press the [ RESET ] button to reset the sensor.

Placing the Sensor

  • Choose a location outside the home shielded from direct sunlight or wet conditions for accurate readings.
  • Mount on a wall or place on a flat surface within approximately 150 meters transmission range.
  • Minimize obstructions like doors, walls, and furniture.

  • Read and keep instructions for reference.
  • Avoid covering ventilation holes with items like newspapers or curtains.
  • Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive materials.

Q: What type of batteries should I use with the sensor?

A: The sensor requires 2 x AA size 1.5V batteries. It is recommended to use Lithium batteries for low-temperature environments.

A: To change the channel, you need to remove the batteries or reset the unit by pressing the [ RESET ] button.

GENERAL WARNINGS

  • Risk of fire/explosion — Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Use only the recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the device or batteries, or throw them into a fire.
  • Excessive heat or improper handling could trigger a short circuit, a fire, or an explosion.
  • Do not disassemble the device. In the event of a defect, please contact your dealer. The dealer will contact the Service Centre and can send the device in to be repaired, if necessary.
  • Use only the recommended batteries. Always replace weak or empty batteries with a new, complete set of batteries at full capacity. Do not use batteries from different brands or with different capacities.
  • The batteries should be removed from the unit if it has not been used for a long time.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

  • We recommend using alkaline batteries. If tem-peratures regularly fall below 0°C (32°F), we recommend using lithium batteries.
  • Avoid using rechargeable batteries. (Recharge-able batteries cannot maintain correct power requirements.)
  • Insert batteries before first use, matching the polarity in the battery compartment. 2x AA Bat-teries are required.

WIRELESS THERMO-HYGRO SENSOR

  1. Remove the battery door.
  2. Slide the [ CHANNEL ] slide switch to choose a channel.
  3. Insert 2 x AA size batteries into the battery compartment according to the polarity mark on the battery compartment.
  4. Close the battery door.

Note:

  • Ensure to assign different channels of different sensors, in case you need to pair more than one sensor.
  • Once the channel is assigned to a Wireless Thermo-Hygro sensor, you can only change it by removing the batteries or resetting the unit.
  • Avoid placing the sensor in direct sunlight, rain, or snow.

PAIRING THE WIRELESS SENSORS WITH THE CONSOLE

The console will automatically search and connect to your wireless sensor(s). Once your sensor (s) pair up successfully, the sensor(s) signal strength indication and weather information will appear on your console display.

  • Choose a location on the exterior of the home that can shield the sensor from direct sunlight or wet conditions for an accurate reading.
  • Hang it with the wall mount hole or place it directly on a flat surface, and make sure the transmission is within 150 meters approx.
  • Minimize obstructions such as doors, walls, furniture, etc.
