CREATING A MACRAME PLANT HANGER
1x macrame plant hanger requires 8x 110cm length of white macrame rope, TX 190cm and 1x 60cm length of orange macrame rope, Ix 200cm and 1x 100cm length of light pink macrame rope, 1x 60cm length of brown macrame rope, 1x 50cm length of dark pink macrame rope and 1x wooden ring.
- Pass 8x 110cm length of white macrame rope through the wooden ring 25cm and fold them. (Fig. 1-2)
- Take 1x 190cm length of orange macrame rope to make a “U’ shape (Note: the length is 15cm) (Fig. 3)
- Pull the longer end of the rope around all the strands and the U-shaped loop. Continue to wrap the rope several times over the strands and the loop. Then, pull the end through the U-shaped loop. (Fig. 4-6)
- Grab both the ends of the rope, which is the one you just pulled through the loop as well as the one that’s sticking out on top, and tug at them.
- Snip the ends off and our gathering knot is all done. (Fia, 7-9)
- Please follow the step 2-5 to wrap the 1x 200cm length of light pink macrame rope and 1x 60cm length of brown macrame rope on the 8x white rope next to the orange rope. Now you have finished the top half of the plant hanger. (Fig. 9-12)
- Please follow the step 2-5 to wrap the 1x 100cm length of light pink macrame rope, Ix 60cm length of orange macrame rope and ix 50cm length of dark pink macrame rope 30cm away from the end of 8x white rope. Now you have finished a complete macrame plant hanger. (Fig. 13-16)
