J-TECH DIGITAL JTD-2935 8K HDMI 2×1 Switch
Introduction
- This 8K 2×1 HDMI 2.1 switcher can switch any of the 2 HDMI sources to 1 display. It supports video resolution up to 8K @ 60Hz 4:4:4, 48GBbps video bandwidth. It is suitable for outdoor display, video conference rooms, security monitoring, home theater and other applications.
- By using this 8K HDMI switcher, you can connect 2 sources, one in HDMI 1 and another in HDMI 2, and connect an external display to HDMI out. You can switch between the two sources by pressing the switch button on the top panel of the switcher. In order to make sure that you display shows normally, we suggest that you plug the micro-USB cable in the package in to your USB device to power the switcher.
- Please note that this switcher is not bi-directional; you can only use from two sources to one display (only 2 in 1 out, not 1 in 2 out).
- This unit can work well with Xbox or PS5 to achieve 4K @ 120Hz on your compatible display.

Operation Controls and Functions
Notes
- While using the HDMI switcher, power supply via Micro USB cable is not necessary. But in case some of your HDMI devices with insufficient power, please connect Micro USB cable to your USB devices for power supply.
- If you need to use the switcher to output signals of 4K@ 120Hz or 8K@60Hz, please make sure that your HDMI cable, HDMI signal source and HDMI display all support the above resolution.
- The length of the HDMI cables connected to both ends of the switcher should not be too long, otherwise, it will easily cause the screen to flicker. The following HDMI cables are suggested:
- 8K60, 8K30, 4K120: Ultra HDMI2.1 cable, IN/OUT 2 meters.
- 4K60 4:4:4: HDMI2.0 cable, IN/OUT 3 meters.
- 4K60 4:2:0, 4K30, 1080P: HDMI cable, IN/OUT 5 meters.
Application Example
Product Service
- Damage requiring service: The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel if:
- The DC power supply cord or AC adapter has been damaged;
- Objects or liquids have gotten into the unit;
- The unit has been exposed to rain;
- The unit does not operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance; (e) The unit has been dropped or the cabinet damaged.
- Servicing Personnel: Do not attempt to service the unit beyond that described in these operating instructions. Refer all other servicing to authorized servicing personnel.
- Replacement Parts: When parts need replacing, ensure that the servicer uses parts specified by the manufacturer, or parts that have the same characteristics as the original parts. Unauthorized substitutes may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
- Safety check: After repairs or service, ask the servicer to perform safety checks to confirm that the unit is in proper working condition.
Warranty
If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials of
workmanship, our company (referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length
of the period indicated as below,
“Parts (1) Year, Labor (90) Days”, which starts with the date of original
purchase (“Limited Warranty period”), at its option either (a) repair your
product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace it with a new or a
refurbished product. The decision to repair or replace will be made by the
warrantor.
During the “Labor” limited warranty period, there will be no charge for labor.
During the “Parts” warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You
must mail-in your product during the warranty period. This Limited Warranty is
extended only to the original purchaser and only covers products purchased as
new. A purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase date is required
for Limited Warranty service.
Mail-In Service
When shipping the unit, carefully pack and send it prepaid, adequately insured, and preferably in the original carton. Include a letter detailing the complaint and provide a day time phone and/or email address where you can be reached.
Limited Warranty Limits and Exclusions
This Limited Warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in material or
workmanship, and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The
Limited Warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER damages which occurred in shipment, or
failures which are caused by products not supplied by warrantor, or failures
which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling,
misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, mis-
adjustment of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge,
lightning damage, modification, or service by anyone other than a Factory
Service center or other Authorized Servicer, or damage that is attributed to
acts of God.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS LISTED UNDER “LIMITED WARRANTY
COVERAGE”. THE WARRANTOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTAIL DAMAGES
RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS
WARRANTY. (As examples, this excludes damages for lost time, cost of having
someone remove or re-install an installed unit if applicable, travel to and
from the service, loss of or damage to media or images, data or other recorded
content. The items listed are not exclusive, but are for illustration only.)
PARTS AND SERVICE, WHICH ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ARE YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY.
Extended Warranty
With the registration of supported J-Tech Digital products, you extend the
current warranty by 6 months. This extension is added to the warranty that
starts at the purchase date of the device supported. Total product warranty
with the extended period will equate to a total of 18 months of warranty from
the date of purchase.
For extended warranties to be accepted, all warranty extensions must be
claimed within 30 days of purchasing the eligible J-Tech Digital product.
Extensions attempted to be claimed outside of the 30-day window will not be
