Product Usage Instructions

Hardware Interface
The IP Speaker comes with interfaces for Alarm in, PoE, and DC Power. The built-in MIC horn speakers SIP-S21H and SIP-S21M also have audio in capabilities. The IP Speaker can be powered by either PoE or DC Power.

Configuration
Option 1: Quick IPTool Setting

  1. Visit www.tonmind.com to download IPTool for configuration. (Download routine: Support > Download Center > Software).
  2. Scan the local area network devices.
  3. Proceed with your settings.

Option 2: Complete Web Setting

  1. Change the IP of your computer to the 192.168.5.X network segment.
  2. Open a browser and type in http://192.168.5.200.
  3. Enter the default user credentials on the Login page: User: admin, Password: tm1234.
  4. Proceed with your settings.

Adding IP Speaker to VMS

  1. Ensure that the VMS supports Onvif Profile S Audio Backchannel.
  2. Login to the IP Speaker web interface and save ONVIF settings.
  3. In the VMS software, scan for the IP Speaker and use the MIC icon to talk to the speaker. Note: For the built-in MIC speaker, it supports listen and intercom in ONVIF VMS from the speaker Mic.

FAQ

  1. Q: How do I reset the IP Speaker to factory settings?
    A: To reset the IP Speaker to factory settings, locate the reset button on the device and press and hold it for at least 10 seconds until the device reboots.

  2. Q: Can I use the IP Speaker outdoors?
    A: While some models may be suitable for outdoor use, it is recommended to check the specific IP rating and operating temperature range of the IP Speaker before using it outdoors.

  1. Make sure the VMS supports Onvif Profile S Audio Backchannel.
  2. Open IP Speaker web, login ONVIF and save.
  3. Open VMS, scan the IP Speaker and press the MIC icon to “Talk” to speaker.

(Note: For the built-in MIC speaker, it supports listen and intercom in ONVIF VMS from speaker Mic)
