Product Usage Instructions

Installation:
Before beginning the installation process, ensure you have the necessary tools:

  • Phillips Screw Driver
  • Pry Tool
  • Drill
  • 5/8 Drill Bit
  • T10 Torx Driver

Panels and Dash Disassembly:

  1. Remove the overhead console using a plastic pry tool to release the clips securing it to the headliner.
  2. Pull down the console and disconnect the connectors.
  3. Drill a 5/8 hole towards the front of the sunglass holder cavity.
  4. Mount the ALPHA12 controller to the F150 Raptor fascia using thread cutting screws.
  5. Route the controller cable through the drilled hole and run it towards the passenger side A pillar.
  6. Secure the fascia to the sunglass holder cavity using Phillips screws and flat washers.
  7. Reconnect the connectors and reinstall the overhead console.

Switch Works Brain Module Installation:

  1. Mount the brain module in the engine bay above the fusebox.
  2. Attach the module to the bracket using supplied screws.
  3. Mount the fender bracket to the fender wall above the fusebox using factory bolts.
  4. Connect accessories to the harnesses and plug them into the brain module.
  5. Ensure the 15 button controller is plugged in before connecting power and ground cables to the battery.

INSTALLATION

TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION

PANELS AND DASH DISASSEMBLY

  • A. Remove the overhead console by using a plastic pry tool carefully working all around the console.
  • B. Note that there are 4 clips that secure the overhead console to the headliner.
  • C. Pull down the overhead console and unplug the connectors.
  • D. Remove the sunglass holder. Drill a 5/8” hole on towards the front of the sunglass holder cavity (front is the windshield side).
  • E. Mount the ALPHA12 controller to the F150 Raptor fascia using the 4-40x.75” thread cutting screws (x4).
  • F. Note that the F150 Raptor Overhead Fascia mounts behind the overhead console and is secured to the 2 posts circled above.
  • G. Route the controller cable through the hole drilled on the overhead console and run it towards the passenger side A pillar.
  • H. Secure the F150 Raptor Fascia to the sunglass holder cavity using the #7-19x.75 Phillips screws and M4 flat washers (x2 each).
  • I. Plug the connectors and re-install the overhead console.

SWITCH Works Brain Module Installation

TOOLS NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION

  • Phillips Screw Driver
  • 8, 10, 12 & 13mm Wrench

A. The SWITCH Works brain module is mounted in this area of the engine bay above the fusebox.

B. Mount the SWITCH Works brain module to the B-MB3192 bracket using the supplied M5x10mm screw (x4).

C. Mount the fender bracket (B-MB3191) to the fender wall (above the fusebox) using the factory bolts.

D. Attach the module bracket to the fender bracket using the supplied M6-1x12mm hex head bolts (B-S2870).

E. Connect the accessories to be used to the High and Low current harnesses and plug the harnesses to the brain module. NOTE that the 15 button controller MUST be plugged in to the module before connecting the power and ground cables to the battery. Snap on the terminal cover to the module’s + terminal.

F. Refer to the SW-E12 instructions manual for a detailed installation and programming procedure of the SWITCH Works ALPHA12 system.
