Dear customer,
Thank you for choosing the TESLA Ring G55.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not repair the ring or the charging station, risk of injury, risk of damage and loss of warranty.
- The manufacturer and importer into the European Union is not responsible for damage or injury caused by the operation of the ring and accessories.
FIRST USE
Charge the battery in the ring. Connect the power cable to the 5V USB power
adapter (not included) and connect the other end of the power cable to the
charging base. Twist the ring so that the charging contact on the ring gently
clips into the magnetic charging base (2).
Ring is charging
Indicator 1 flashes red during charging.
Battery fully charged
Indicator 1 flashes green, then turns off.
Place the ring on your finger so that the sensors inside the ring have good
contact with the skin. If the ring is fitted too loosely, incorrect data
collection may occur.
The ring can be worn during showering, short swimming, diving, etc. We do not
recommend submerging it for more than 30 minutes at a depth of more than 100
meters. We do not recommend wearing the ring when working with heavy or sharp
objects. The ring may scratch other surfaces or be scratched. Avoid contact
with other batteries or electronic devices with batteries, there is a risk of
short circuit, similar to other standard metal rings.
MOBILE PHONE APPLICATIONS
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone, install the „TESLA Ring” app from Google
Play/Apple Store and follow the guide to pair with the ring.
STARTING THE APPLICATION
Set profile data – gender, height, weight, date of birth. Based on the entered
values, the system will automatically suggest a step length, which you can
further adjust. Setting the correct stride length affects the distance
calculation for activities and exercises.
Allow all permissions that the „TESLA Ring” app requests:
- ANDROID: enable „Notification”, „Location” and „Nearby devices” app permissions.
- iOS: enable „Notification”, „Location”, „Bluetooth” and „Local Area Network” app permissions. Pair the TESLA Ring G55 in the app. Click the „Add TESLA Ring” button to search for a ring and select the found TESLA Ring G55 to pair.
SETTINGS tab
Goal
In the „Goal” item, you can set the desired daily goals for fulfillment – the
number of steps, burned calories, or activity time. If you enable
notifications for the app on your mobile phone, the app will notify you when
the goal is met. You can set goals differently even for individual days of the
week turn on the item „Daily exercise goal” and then set the values for each
day separately.
Profile
User profile settings – gender, height, weight, date of birth. Based on the
entered values, the system will automatically suggest a step length, which you
can further adjust. Setting the correct stride length affects the distance
calculation for activities and exercises.
Other
Setting the format, units of displayed values and application notifications.
- Unit Format: Metric/Imperial
- Temperature unit: °C/Fahrenheit
- Movement reminder: you will receive a notification on your phone when you are inactive.
- Low battery reminder: if the battery level drops below 5 %, you will receive a notification on your phone.
- Heart rate alert: if the set maximum heart rate value is exceeded, you will receive a notification on your phone.
Firmware
Information about the current version of the ring’s firmware, checking for
updates or erasing data.
Erasing data (Reset)
- Click on the RESET button and then confirm the choice with the OK button. After successful deletion of data (the application informs you with a notification), close the application and the data stored in the ring’s memory will be deleted.
- To delete the saved data in the application, go to the mobile phone settings > „TESLA Ring” application and delete the saved data of the application. After starting the application again, make new settings (profile, destination, etc.) and pair the ring again. The procedure for deleting data may differ depending on your mobile phone and operating system. If necessary, contact the support or service of the mobile phone manufacturer.

OVERVIEW tab
Activity
Displays daily information about steps, calories and activity time.
Click the Activity field to see:
- Overview showing activity time during the current day. Swipe left/right to see an overview of activities in the past days. By pressing and moving the „white” line, you can move in the timeline and see detailed information about the number of steps, calories, etc.
- Overview for the last 7 days from the selected day, click on the selected day to view the activity details.
Click the Calendar icon to select a day in the calendar and view activity
details. You can also find a detailed display of the results and evaluation of
the activity results in the ACTIVITY tab.
The steps in the application are indicative data, which depends on the number
of movements of the finger of the hand. The step count and distance display
may be affected by some hand movements, such as typing on a keyboard or other
mechanical hand work.
Exercise Records
Click on the „Exercise Records” field to view information about saved
activities, the displayed information varies according to the selected
exercise. Click the „Start Exercise” icon to view a list of exercises.

Training with GPS data recording:
For functionality, you must have the TESLA Ring G55 within range, as well as a mobile phone with a paired TESLA Ring app. Select the activity, confirm the mobile phone connection, wait for the location data (GPS) to be loaded and the current location to be displayed. Set the desired goals and click the start button to begin the exercise. -
Exercise without GPS data recording: Choose an activity, set the desired goals and click the start button to begin.
You can pause, end, or lock a running workout on your mobile phone to prevent
it from being paused or ended accidentally. To unlock, click and hold the
“Unlock” button for 3 seconds. When paused, you can click the “Continue”
button to continue recording activities or click the “Finish” button to exit.
Only exercise records that last longer than 1 minute or have recorded enough
data for the selected activity and selected goals will be saved.
Sleep
Click on the „Sleep” field to see:

Sleep state division: Calm (Deep)/Light/REM/Wake up and display the time of falling asleep and waking up from the last sleep. Swipe left/right to see an overview of sleep in the previous days.
By pressing and moving the “white” line, you can move in the progress timeline and view detailed information about the species and time. -
Sleep ratio by type and time of last sleep.

Assessment of sleep quality.

The measurement only takes place between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Click the „Calendar” icon to select a day on the calendar and view sleep
details. You can also find a detailed view of the results and sleep evaluation
in the SLEEP tab.
Heart rate
Displays the current day’s measured heart rate values. The heart rate is
measured automatically, but you can also take a manual measurement by clicking
the „Measure heart rate” icon.
Click on the „Heart Rate” field to see:
- Values measured during the current day or average heart rate values for the current week or month. Swipe left/right to see an overview of previous data for a day/week/month. By pressing and moving the „white” line, you can move through the progress timeline and view detailed heart rate and time information.
- Heart rate zones and ratings.
Click the „Calendar” icon to select a day on the calendar and view heart rate
details. Click the „Statistics” icon to view a list and rating of manual heart
rate measurements. Manual measurement is mainly used for measuring heart rate
during or after exercise and saving the measured values in a list.
Blood oxygen content
Displays information about the blood oxygenation of the last measurement
taken. To measure the values, click the „Measure oxygen content” button in the
blood.
Click on the „Blood Oxygen Content” field to view:
- Detailed information of the last measurement.
- 7 recent records.
Click on the „Statistics” icon to view a list and rating of blood oxygenation
measurements.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
Displays the current day’s heart rate variability measurements. Heart rate
variability is measured automatically, but you can also take a manual
measurement by clicking the „Measure Heart Rate Variability” icon.
Click on the „Heart Rate Variability” box to see:
- Values measured during the current day or average heart rate values for the current week or month. Swipe left/right to see an overview of passing data per day/week /month . By pressing and moving the „white” line, you can move through the timeline of the progress and view detailed heart rate and time information.
Click the „Calendar” icon to select a day on the calendar and view the details
of the stored heart rate variability values. Click on the “Statistics” icon to
view a list and rating of manual measurements of heart rate variability
values. Manual measurement is primarily used to measure heart rate variability
during or after exercise and save the measured values in a list.
Stress
Displays information about the value of the stress state of the measurement.
Click the „Measure Stress” icon to measure the values.
Click on the „Stress” box to see:
- Detailed information of the last measurement.
- 7 recent records.
Click on the „Statistics” icon to view a list of stress state value
measurements.
Menstrual cycle
Shows the expected prediction of the menstrual cycle according to the entered
values.
Click the Menstrual Cycle field to preview the current month in the calendar,
click the right/left arrow to change the displayed month.

Reminder notice
Set the notification notification of the application to the selected options: Period reminder/Ovulation reminder/Ovulation day reminder/Ovulation end reminder. -
Cycle settings
Set the correct cycle values, Number of menstrual days/Number of days between cycles/Date of last period start.
Once you set the correct values, the calendar will highlight the days for
ovulation, the day of ovulation and the prediction of the menstrual period in
color. In the case of the beginning of the menstrual period, the color marking
will change from light pink (predict period) to dark pink (menstruation). The
color marking of the days of the menstrual cycle is indicated in the calendar
label. The prediction of the menstrual cycle in the calendar is indicative.
Keep input values updated for early warning of estimated cycle start.
ACTIVITY tab
Displays detailed information:
- An overview showing the activity time during the current day or the average value of the current week or month. Swipe left/right to view the Day/Week /Month transition data overview. By pressing and moving the „white” line, you can move through the progress timeline and view detailed information on the number of steps, calories and time.
- Volume of physical activity.
- Overview for the last 7 days from the selected day, click on the selected day to view the activity details.
- Exercise records.
- Comparison of results by gender and age.
Click the Calendar icon to select a day in the calendar and view activity

SLEEP tab
Displays information about previous sleep.
Click on the „Sleep” box to see:
- Division of sleep state into Calm (Deep)/Light/REM/ Wake up and display the current day/week/month of falling asleep and waking up from sleep. Swipe left/right to view the sleep overview of the previous day/week/month. By pressing and moving the “white” line, you can move in the progress timeline and view detailed time information about sleep.
- Sleep ratio by type and time of last sleep.
- Assessment of sleep quality.
- Sleep analysis, efficiency and timing.
- Average heart rate during sleep.
- Average heart rate (heart rate variability).
- Temperature, difference from average body temperature.
- Activity status during sleep.
- Sleep development over the last 7 days.
- Comparison of sleep, sleep-wake time, and sleep time by gender and age.
Click the Calendar icon to select a day on the calendar to view sleep details.
As part of the software complexity of the operating system and the
requirements of Google/Apple for application security, it is necessary to
adapt the functions of the application as well. Also, keep your phone’s
operating system updated to the latest version. The application requires the
operating system Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and higher, otherwise its
functionality cannot be guaranteed.
TESLA Electronic LTD reserves the right to make changes to the application and
firmware of the TESLA Ring G55 smart ring. Some features may be added, changed
or removed.
SOLVING PROBLEMS WITH THE APPLICATION
- Check that the ring is properly charged and paired in the TESLA Ring app.
- Check your mobile phone settings to see if you have all features and permissions enabled ANDROID: enable „ Notification”, „Location” and „Nearby devices” application permissions. iOS: enable „Notification”, „Location”, „Bluetooth” and „Local Area Network” application permissions.
- Check the app version and update if a new version is available.
- Check the smart ring firmware and update if a new version is available.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Wash the ring with mild soapy water, then rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
The ring doesn’t work. | Check that the ring is charged. |
Connect the ring to the charging stand.
The ring does not measure.| In case of frequent measurement, failure may
occur. Do not click the measurement too often.
Check that you have the ring on correctly, that it is not too loose and that
the measuring sensors are on the underside of the finger.
Some days or dates are not saved.| The ring was discharged, it couldn’t
measure data.
The ring was not fitted correctly or at all.
The data in the app or ring has been deleted.
The menstrual calendar cannot be turned off.| To clear the data and turn off
the menstrual calendar, clear the application data stored in the phone memory.

- electromechanical or mechanical damage caused by improper use.
- damage caused by natural elements such as water, fire, static electricity, overvoltage, etc.
- damage caused by unauthorized repair.
