Product Information
ROBERTS® Silicone Moisture Barrier is an underlayment with a silicone coating that will not allow moisture to penetrate through to finished flooring planks. The smooth surface side allows installers to easily slide planks during installation, allowing for a fast installation process. The Silicone Moisture Barrier is made from repurposed paper that is environmentally safe and made of 100% recycled contents and does not contain any toxic tar or tar-based materials found in some underlayments. The white paper will not leave a black residue on hands or walls and allows for a more visible chalk line. In addition, it does not fall apart during installation like red rosin, kraft, and wax papers can. Meets the perm ratings recommended by the Natural Wood Flooring Association.
