Product Usage Instructions
Unpacking and Setup:
- Unpack the camera unit and check the contents against the list provided in the Quick Start Guide.
- Remove the silicon plug and unscrew to remove the cover to access the memory card slot.
- Insert MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card up to 256GB into the memory card slot.
- Connect the power adapter to the camera’s DC12V input or use a compatible PoE+ injector for power.
Installation Notices:
- Installation must be performed by qualified personnel following local procedures.
- Do not attempt battery replacement due to explosion risk.
- Seal connectors on the cable tail properly to prevent water ingress.
Camera Cabling:
Connect the camera connectors as follows:
- Alarm I/O
- Audio I/O
- RJ-45 Port for network and PoE+ connections
- Power(DC 12V) and Reset Button
Accessing the Camera:
- Set up the camera’s IP address using DHCP or manually configure it based on your network settings.
- Login to the camera for the first time using a browser-based viewer and set a strong password.
SD Card Usage:
Insert the SD card into the camera’s card slot to store videos and
snapshots. Avoid removing the SD card while the camera is powered on to
prevent data loss.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I continuously record with the microSD card?
It is not recommended to continuously record 24/7 with the microSD card as
it may not support long-term continuous data read/write. Contact the
manufacturer of the microSD card for reliability and life expectancy
information.

Installation Notices
- Caution installation shall be performed by qualified personnel only. Installation shall be in accordance with local procedures. The camera contains batteries.
- Battery replacement shall not be applied in view of the risk of explosion. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
- For “PoE” input connection, use only with UL listed I.T.E. with “PoE” output. Description for the “PoE” is intended to be connected to not exposed (outside plant) networks or equivalent statement in installation instructions.
- Seal the connectors on the cable tail appropriately to protect them from water ingress.
