Getting started
- Insert 3 AAA batteries into the battery compartment of the power drill (see Battery Installation and Instructions in this guide).
- Help your child snap the bit into the power drill.
- Point out the three positions of the power switch—forward, off, and reverse.
- Step 1: Snap together the parts.
- Step 2: Use the power drill to screw the clear bolts into the holes of the rocket parts. Make sure all parts are secured with bolts to prevent parts from being lost during play.
- Step 3: Use a bolt to assemble your Bolt Buddy, then put on the helmet and you’re ready for takeoff! Each Bolt Buddy also doubles as a screwdriver!
Battery Installation and Instructions
- The drill requires three AAA batteries, not included.
- Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the unit.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Only charge rechargeable batteries under adult supervision.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Routine Maintenance: Use a wet cloth to wipe down all the parts and get rid of dust and dirt.
- Do Not Put the Drill in Water: To avoid damage, do not put the drill or any of its parts in water.
- Care for Batteries: Take the batteries out of the drill when not in use for a long time to keep them from leaking.
- Look for Damage: Check the drill and nuts often for damage or signs of wear.
- How to Store Right: Keep the set somewhere dry so that mold or mildew doesn’t grow on it.
- Stay away from strong chemicals: Do not use rough cleaners or harsh chemicals on the plastic parts.
- Use a small container or bag to keep nuts together. This will make it less likely that you’ll lose a piece.
