Trainer Parts
You should check the package for all the required parts.
1 5 mm hex key

Mounting the Rollers
- Place the left and right frames 1 on the floor with the Tacx logo facing out.
- Place roller 2 between the left and right frames, and attach each roller to the frame on one side.
- Place belt 3 around the rear roller.
- Attach each roller to the frame on the other side.
- Secure each roller to the frame by inserting a bolt 4 through the washers,5 frames, and roller.
- Use the 5 mm hex key to tighten the bolts.
Dowel Pin Placement
The dowel pins on your Tacx Antares/Galaxia trainer allow you to customize
your trainer to fit your bike. You can determine the placement of the dowel
pins using this diagram and the distance between both axles on your bike.

Adjusting the Spring Holders
Before your first ride, you must set the spring holders on the trainer to fit
your bike.
TIP: Repeat these steps each time you change bikes.
- Remove spring holder 1 from frame 2.
- Remove the dowel pins 3 and springs 4 from the spring holders.
- Measure your bike from one axle to the other.
- Determine the placement of the dowel pins (Dowel Pin Placement, page 3).
- Place the springs and dowel pins back into the spring holders, and place the spring holders back into the frame.
Assembling the Trainer for a Ride
- Release the lever 1 on each side of the frame.
- Move the belt around the frame so that it forms a loop around the middle and front rollers.
- Press and hold button 2 on the frame, and pull out the front end to extend the frame.
- Push in the levers to secure the frame position.
- Move the belt 3 to the edge of the rollers until it is secure.
Going for a Ride
WARNING
Before using the trainer, ensure that the trainer is assembled properly and
according to the provided instructions. Failure to properly assemble the
trainer may result in injury or property damage.
Your first ride on the trainer should be a short training ride to help you get comfortable with the trainer.
- Inspect the nuts and bolts on the trainer before each use.
- Place the trainer on a flat surface that is clear of any obstructions.
- Do not place the trainer on a mat.
- Check the tyre pressure of your bike before each use.
- Wear appropriate exercise clothes and cycling shoes.
TIP: Wear normal exercise shoes the first time you use the trainer, and while you are getting used to balancing on the trainer.
- Practice riding in a doorway or next to a wall where you can reach out for balance.
- Focus on a spot in front of you instead of at your front wheel while using the trainer to help keep your balance.
- Do not apply your brakes while using the trainer. Reduce your speed gradually.
- Check the internet for videos and other instructional content to help you get started.
Device Care and Storage
- Wipe off the trainer after every use.
- Clean the trainer before storing it.
- Flip over the trainer, release the levers to unlock the base, push the silver buttons, and push the front end in to compress the frame for storage.
