Product Usage Instructions

Remote Control

Ensure proper handling of the remote control:

  • Use non-rechargeable batteries only.
  • Insert batteries with correct polarity.
  • Remove exhausted batteries safely.
  • Avoid short-circuiting the supply terminals.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries.

Fan

Follow these steps to operate the fan:

  • Remove the cable tie and unravel the power cord.
  • Do not run the power cord under the stand.
  • Plug the power cord into a mains power point and switch on.
  • The Red Power Indicator light will illuminate on the control panel.
  • Tilt the fan head to your desired position.
  • To start the fan, press the On / Off button on the control panel or remote control.
  • The fan will start at default speed 3.
  • Use the Speed Button to adjust fan speed from 1 (Low) to 4 (High).
  • To turn off the fan, press the On / Off button.

FAQ

Q: Can I use rechargeable batteries in the remote control?
A: No, only non-rechargeable batteries should be used in the remote control to avoid damage.

Q: What should I do if the fan does not start at all?
A: Check the power connection and ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a working power outlet.

  • Do not disassemble the appliance. There are no user serviceable parts inside.

  • Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that produce heat.

  • Do not operate appliance underneath or near flammable or combustible materials (e.g. curtains). Keep at least 300mm clearance around sides, back, front, and top.

  • Unplug this appliance during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

  • Do not block any ventilation openings.

  • Turn off and unplug before cleaning or storing.

  • For cleaning, refer to section “Care and Cleaning” in this instruction manual.

  • Any type of servicing, apart from ordinary cleaning, must be carried out by qualified electrical person only. There are no user serviceable parts in this appliance.

  • If this appliance is used by a third party, please supply the instruction manual with it.

  • Do not misuse the cord. Never carry the appliance by the cord or pull to disconnect it from the outlet. Instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.

  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the grille openings as this may cause damage to the appliance and/or injury to the user.

  • No liability can be accepted for any damage caused by non-compliance with these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling of appliance.

Additional Safety Instructions

If using an extension cord:

  • The technical specifications of the extension cord must match or exceed the technical specifications of this appliance.
  • Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of the work surface or to come into contact with stoves or other hot surfaces.
  • If the cord or plugs are worn or damaged, do not use.
  • Unplug from the power socket by grasping the plug body – Do Not pull on the cord.

Instructions for Use

Remote Control

Important

  • non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

  • batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

  • exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.

  • the supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

  • Do Not mix new and old batteries, or batteries of different types.
    (e.g., Alkaline with Non-Alkaline) in the remote control.

  • To prevent corrosion, remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used over a lengthy period.

Note: 2 x AAA batteries are not included.
The Fan comes with a remote control for your convenience.

The functions on the remote control are the same as the buttons on the Fan.

  • To install the batteries, first remove the back of the remote control by pressing down on the Thumb Grip, then sliding the battery cover down and lift off as shown.
  • Insert the batteries inside the battery compartment matching polarity icons with those in the battery compartment and then refit the cover securely by sliding back on.

Battery Type: “1.5V 2 x AAA”

Fan
Remove the cable tie and unravel the power cord before operation.

DO NOT run the power cord under the stand.
Plug the power cord into the mains power point and switch on.
The Red Power Indicator light on the Fan’s control panel will illuminate.

Tilt the fan head up or down to your desired position.
Press the On / Off button on the control panel or on the remote control.

The fan will start at default speed 3.
Press the Speed Button and the fan speed will increase to position 4 (high Speed).
Press the Speed Button again and the fan speed will cycle around to position 1 (Low Speed).
Press the Speed Button again and the fan speed will increase to position 2.
Press the Speed Button again and the fan speed will increase to position 3, and so on.
To turn the fan off, press the On / Off button.

Note: If the fan is left powered on, the next time you start the fan, it will start at the last speed setting.
If the fan is switched off at the power point or unplugged, the next time you start the fan, it will default to speed setting 3.

Care and Cleaning

  • Turn off and unplug the unit from the power source before cleaning.

IMPORTANT: Never spray with liquids or submerge the unit in water or any other liquid.

  • Do Not use flammable liquids, chemicals, abrasive creams, steel wool or scouring pads for cleaning.
  • Wipe the unit over with a damp (not wet) cloth with fresh clean lukewarm water and mild detergent.
  • Wipe over again to remove any detergent residue and thoroughly dry before reusing.
  • Do not let the Control Buttons or Indictor lights wet or splashed.
  • If the Fan grilles are dusty, you can use a vacuum cleaner with a “non-rotating” brush attachment to gently vacuum the dust away.
  • IMPORTANT: Do Not poke any objects into the fan grille slots for any reason.

Storage

  • Switch off and unplug the fan.
  • Coil the cable loosely. Do not kink or pull the cable tight.
  • Store your fan in a cool, dry location.
  • The remote control can be stored in the rear of the base if desired as shown:

We will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair (where possible) or exchange (availability dependent) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. The business will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.

Warranty claims and claims for expenses incurred in returning this product can be addressed to the respective Customer Service Centre.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
