HANDLE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

- Position a bolt sleeve (11) in the middle of two bottom handles (10). Insert the M6x60 cup-head bolt (7) through the holes on the bottom handles and bolt sleeve to secure the two bottom handles with a washer (9) and a cap nut (8). Remember not to over-tighten. (Fig. D &E)

ATTACHING THE HANDLE TO THE MOWER
- DO NOT attempt to attach the handle to the bolts on the roller assembly at the rear of the mower. This is incorrect! As you follow the instructions below, refer to FIGURE 2 for more information.
- After assembling the handle, fit the holes at the end of the lower portion of the handle on the left and right side, over the short posts extending out from the side plates.
REPLACEMENT PART KITS
USAGE AND CARE
- To prevent unnecessary wear on blades, pull the reel mower rather than push when you are not cutting grass.
- Apply a light coating of oil or WD-40 to the blades after every use.
MINOR CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS
Adjustable from. 5 inches to 2 1/2 inches (1,27cm to 6,35cm) (FIGURE 3)
- To lower the cutting height, loosen and remove the nuts on both sides of the roller assembly.
- Position the bolt through the bottom hole of the plastic roller bracket and the top hole of the mower side plate. Retighten nuts on both sides.
- To increase the cutting height, loosen and remove the nuts on both sides of the roller assembly.
- Position the bolt through the top hole of the plastic roller bracket and the bottom hole of the mower side plate. Retighten nuts on both sides.
MAJOR CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS
The wheel/dust cover assembly can be moved to one of 3 positions on the side plate. Keep in mind that the same adjustment must be performed on both sides of the mower. FIGURE 4a,4b&4c
- To remove the metal hub cap, use a flathead screwdriver to insert into the gap between the wheel and hub cap and pry the cap off. (Figure 4a)
- Remove the axle nut on the inside of the mower by holding the axle pin in place with either a 1/2″ (1.27 cm) socket or flat-blade screwdriver and either a socket or box-end wrench on the nut.
- Pull the wheel, dust cover, and axle pin out gently as a unit until the axle pin clears the side plate. Then, reposition in the desired hole, and replace and tighten the nuts. Position A = 1/2″ (1.27 cm) cutting height, position B = 13/4 (4.44 cm), position C = 21/2″ (6.35 cm). (Figure 4b)
- To install the metal hub cap back onto the wheel, make sure the tabs on the edge of the cap sit inside of the wheel slot and press each tab in place with the last one left. Use the flat-head screwdriver to push the last tab into the slot and ensure all the tabs now sit tightly in the wheel frame without any unevenness. (Figure 4c)
