- CAUTION: Do not set your griddle on a combustible surface, glass, or a surface that can be damaged by heat.
- WARNING: Do not use cooking oil of any kind or quantity in your griddle. Instead, lightly oil food prior to placing in your griddle.
- WARNING: Do not add any type of alcohol to your griddle.
- WARNING: Do not place griddle on top of cooking grates.
- WARNING: Never submerge your griddle in water when it is hot. Thermal shock can cause damage to the enamel. m WARNING: Do not place your griddle on the side table of your barbecue.
Failure to follow these WARNING and CAUTION statements may result in serious bodily injury or may result in a fire or an explosion causing damage to property.

Use and Care

Prior to first use: Hand wash your new griddle thoroughly with mild dishwashing liquid. Dry thoroughly with soft cloth or paper towel.

After use, wait until cool and then clean and dry completely. Nylon or soft abrasive pads/brushes may be used. Store it indoors in a cool and dry location. Note: The griddle is NOT dishwasher safe.
NOTE: Metallic pads/brushes and harsh abrasive soaps can damage the porcelain-enamel finish.
NOTE: To protect the porcelain-enamel coating on your griddle, do not strike metal objects against the product. Gouging or scraping the porcelain- enamel surface with sharp metal utensils can also damage the porcelain-enamel surface. -
Remove cooking grate from your barbecue (A).

Place griddle in the cookbox (B).

Preheat barbecue until temperature reaches 400°F (204°C) (C).

Lightly oil your food before placing on the griddle.

Evenly distribute food over griddle surface; avoid clustering food (D).
