GENERAL SAFETY RULES

  • Carefully read the instructions before operating the unit.
    We have provided many important safety messages in this manual and on your appliance. Always read and obey all safety messages.

  • This appliance Is only for Indoor use.

READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury or sickness when using your fan, follow these basic precautions:

  • Plug Into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
  • Do not remove the ground prong.
  • Do not use an adapter. This unit must only be connected to a 120V earthed outlet.
  • Never connect the appliance to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. If an outlet is not available, one should be installed by a qualified electrician.
  • Never use the plug as a switch to start or turn off the unit. Use the provided power button located on the control panel or remote controller.
  • Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than for its intended use.
  • Always place or store the unit in a dry and stable place. Do not move or tilt the unit.
  • The appliance should not be installed in the laundry or wet COMM
  • Do not operate the appliance in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks that may ignite dust or fumes.
  • Avoid keeping/storing the unit in direct sunlight.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or careful Instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their personal safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
  • Do not route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • Disconnect the power from the unit before dismantling, assembling, or cleaning the unit.
  • Avoid touching any moving parts of the unit.
  • Do not clean the unit by spraying or immersing it in water.
  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Ensure the power cord is not stretched, exposed to sharp objectives, or routed under the unit.
  • Always Inspect the electrical cord for damage before and after use. A damaged cord can cause electrical shock.
  • High-velocity fans are designed to create rapid air movement, therefore ensuring the fan is not placed near curtains or any other object that may be drawn into the fan inlet.
  • The remote contains a lithium battery, keep out of children. Remove the battery from the remote before storage, or if exhausted to prevent leakage.
  • Keep the appliance at least 20 inches away from walls and other items. Keep enough space around the unit to allow for proper ventilation.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

This fan must be grounded. The unit is equipped with a power supply cord having a grounded 3-prong plug. To minimize possible shock hazards, the cord must be plugged into a mating, grounded 3-prong outlet, grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. If a matching outlet is not available, it is the customer’s responsibility to have a properly grounded 3-prong outlet installed by a qualified electrician. It is also the customer’s responsibility:

  • To contact a qualified electrician;
  • To assure that the electrical installation is adequate and in conformance with National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70-latest edition, and all local codes and ordinances.

DISPOSING

  • When you need to dispose of the unit, please consult with your local recycling center for information about how to dispose of the unit in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Please recycle or dispose of the packaging material for the product in an environmentally responsible manner.

SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS

CONTROL PANEL

After unpacking, check whether the body is in good condition and whether there is any defect.

  • Plug-In first

REMOTE CONTROL

ON/OFF: ON/OFF
SPUD : low/ Medium/Nish
MODE : Normal/ Natural/Sleep
SWING : Controls the motion of the air circle
TIMER : Controls the TIMER function

Replacing the Batteries:

  1. Turn over the remote and press tab A to the right.
  2. Slide out the battery tray B.
  3. Replace the battery with the same type, ensuring the positive side is facing upwards.

NOTE:

  • The remote control requires a Lithium-ion Button Cell (CR2025)for replacement.
  • Open the battery compartment at the back of the remote control and insert the batteries inside. Care must be taken to insert the batteries according to the correct polarity(+/-)markings shown inside the battery compartment.
  • Always point the remote-control signal transmitter towards the unit when operating. Make sure that the signal path is not obstructed.
  • Remove the batteries if the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time.
  • Do not drop or play the remote control.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries such as alkaline carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the remote and safely disposed of as per local regulations.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode or leak

TROUBLES SHOOTING

Problems Probable Causes Solutions
The fan will not start • The unit is unplugged

• The fuse is blown/circuit breaker is tripped
• Power failure| • Make sure the power supply cord is plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
• Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box and replace the refuse or reset the breaker.
• In the event of power failure, the tower fan will immediately stop.
Strong vibrations

• Not secured together correctly| • Ensure the fan is sifting on a flat surface.
• Make sure all components are secured correctly.
The tower fan
does not blow
at a consistent
speed.| • The mode control is set to Natural| • For a steady, consistent fan speed, set the mode control to Normal.
Remote control
is not working.| • Remote control battery needs to be replaced
• Remote not pointed at the sensor on the unit or sensor is blocked| • See “Replacing the Battery”.
• Be sure to point the remote control toward the sensor (manual control panel) on the unit. Make sure that the path between the remote control and sensor is not blocked by fumiture or other objects.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Do not use any chemical-based solutions for cleaning fan surfaces.
  • In order to remove the dust from the protective fan grilles, use a vacuum cleaner upholstery attachment.
  • Slightly moisten a cloth and then wipe off the surfaces of the fan.
  • Ensure the fan is completely dry before storage or reconnecting to the electrical supply.
  • Never immerse the fan or fan motor in water or other liquid.
  • If the fan is not used for long periods, protect it with a suitable cover after cleaning, then store it in a dry place.
  • Regular cleaning will ensure the optimum performance and appearance of the fan.
  • DO NOT kink the power cord when storing or while in use.

NOTE: Dust, dirt, pet fur. etc can diminish your fan performance and can lead to unwanted odors. For best performance clean your fan frequently, at least once per season.
ALWAYS TURN OFF AND UNPLUG THE FAN BEFORE CLEANING.
