Product Usage Instructions

Using the Trackball Mouse:

  1. Start by inserting the USB connector into a USB port on your PC.
  2. Adjust the pointer speed by sliding the selector to choose between 500 dpi, 1000 dpi, or 1500 dpi.
  3. Clean the trackball by removing it through the ball removal hole for maintenance.
  4. Assign functions to the function buttons using ELECOM Mouse Assistant software.

USB Connector Usage:
Start your PC and ensure it is ready for operations before inserting the USB connector. Insert it into any available USB port on your PC. Make sure to check the connector orientation and insertion location to avoid damage.

    You can perform the “Back” operation in a web browser.

    You can perform the “Forward” operation in a web browser.

  7. A function can be assigned to each button. No function is assigned at the time of purchase. Download “ELECOM

  8. Mouse Assistant” from the ELECOM website to use its button assignment function.

  9. Trackball

  10. Pointer speed selector
    Sliding the selector switches the resolution (pointer speed) between LOW, MID and HIGH.
    The current resolution will be indicated by the blinking pointer speed indicator light.

    • LOW Blinks once: 500 dpi
    • MID Blinks twice: 1000 dpi
    • HIGH Blinks three times: 1500 dpi

Using the trackball mouse

  1. Start the PC.
    Start the PC, and then wait for it to be ready to perform operations.

  2. Insert the USB connector of the product into a USB port on the PC.
    Any USB port may be used.

    • Be sure to sufficiently check the connector orientation and the insertion location.
    • If you feel a strong resistance when inserting the USB connector, check that the shape and orientation of the connector is correct. Using excessive force may damage the connector and cause injury.
    • Do not directly touch the terminal area of the USB connector.
  3. The driver will be automatically installed, and you will then be able to use the trackball.

Download “ELECOM Mouse Assistant” from the ELECOM website to use its button assignment and high-speed scrolling functions.

  • “ELECOM Mouse Assistant” does not support Windows® RT.
    The function allocation is not available.

Cleaning the trackball

  1. Push out the ball from behind with your finger or a pen.
  2. Remove dust off the areas where the three red support balls contact the trackball using a cotton swab.

Take care not to damage the optical sensor when cleaning the area.

This product does not have a waterproof structure. Use and store this product in a place where the product body will not be splashed with water or other liquid.

  • Do not use this product with any device that may significantly be affected in the case of this product malfunctioning.
  • If this product is not going to be used for one month or longer, remove it from the PC.
  • When you no longer need to use this product, be sure to dispose of them in accordance with the local ordinances and laws of your area.

Cleaning the Product
If the product body becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.

Use of a volatile liquid (paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, etc.) may affect the material quality and color of the product.
