BEFORE FIRST USE

Read and follow all the instructions in this manual even if you feel you are familiar with the product, and find a place to keep it handy for future reference.

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.

WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and personal injury.

  • Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency, and rating as indicated on the product identification plate.
  • Do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate, and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
  • Do not leave the fan running unattended.
  • Do not operate the product if it is dropped, damaged, or showing signs of product malfunction. Do not operate the product with a damaged plug or cord. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, refund, or replacement.
  • If the device is not functioning properly, contact a qualified electrician or service center for examination and repair, never try to dismantle it by yourself.
  • Do not immerse or expose the product or flexible cord to rain, moisture, or any other liquid.
  • This product should not be used near water, such as bathtubs, washbowls, swimming pools, etc. where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.
  • Never install the unit where it could be subject to:
    • Heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products that produce heat
    • Direct sunlight
    • Mechanical vibration or shock
    • Excessive dust
    • Lack of ventilation, such as a cabinet or bookcase
    • Uneven surface
  • Switch off and unplug from the outlet when the product is not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning. Fully assemble the fan before switching it on.
  • Avoid any contact with the moving parts. Do not insert any body parts (e.g. finger) or objects through the grill when the fan is operating.
  • Do not cover the grille, or operate near curtains, etc.
  • This product is intended for normal domestic/household use only.
  • Always disconnect the fan when moving it from one location to another. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
  • Be sure that the fan is on a stable surface when operating, to avoid overturning.
  • Do not immerse the fan in water.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid a hazard.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Remove all small parts from the box.

Base Assembly

  1. Loosen and remove the Base Locking Screw and Washers from the bottom of the Pipe.
  2. Fit the Pipe into the recess in the top side of the Base; and while holding it, turn it over to access the underneath.
  3. Align the Big Washer, Small Washer and Base Locking Screw against the hole. Rotate the Base Locking Screw to finish attaching the Base to the fan body.
  4. Now turn it right way up and place it on a flat stable surface.

Fan Head Assembly
Loosen the Locking Screw on the bottom of the fan head and align the Fan Head to the top of the Inner Pole. Tighten the Locking Screw to attach the fan head to the fan body.

OPERATION

Warning: Make sure that the fan is fully assembled (and that the grills are in place and locked) before switching on.

  • Place your fan on a level and dry surface, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined.
  • Plug the fan into a suitable mains socket (see Technical Specifications for details).

Tilt Adjustment: To adjust the air flow, the tilt angle can be adjusted. To do this, loosen the Tilt Adjustment Screw and adjust the fan head to the desired angle. Tighten the Tilt Adjustment Screw to fix the position.

  • Caution: The fan should be switched off when making this adjustment.

Height Adjustment: To adjust the height of the fan, loosen the Height Adjustment Screw on the Outer Pipe and push the Inner Pipe up/down to the desired height. Tighten the Height Adjustment Screw to fix the fan in place.

  • Caution: The fan should be switched off when making this adjustment.
  • Note: Fan height can be adjusted from 90cm to 120cm.

REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

To connect the remote control to the unit: Press & hold the “ON/OFF” button of the unit first, and then connect the product to the power supply. The remote control will be paired successfully after three seconds.

  • ON/OFF Button Press the button to turn the fan ON/OFF.
  • Speed Button : Press the button to change the fan speed in the following order: Low speed → Medium speed → High speed.
  • Fan Timer Button : Press the button to activate the fan timer function, the fan will turn off after running 1 hour to 7 hours.
  • Fan Swing Button : Press the button to activate the fan oscillation function when the fan is running.

CONTROL PANEL OPERATION

  • Fan ON/OFF Button: Press the button to turn the fan ON/OFF.
  • Fan Speed Button: Press the button change the fan speed at following order: Low speed → Medium speed → High speed.
  • Fan Swing Button: Press the button to activate the fan oscillation function when fan is running.
  • Fan Timer Button: Press the button to activate the fan timer function, the fan will turn off after running 1 hour to 7 hours. LED Indicators: The LED indicator on the fan body light up to indicate fan button has been pressed and fan function has been activated.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Caution

  • Always switch off and unplug the fan before performing any cleaning.
  • Do not use harsh detergents, chemical cleaners or solvents as they may damage the surface finish of the components.
  • Do not allow the wooden part to get wet.
  1. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean the Grills.

  2. Use a soft duster or a cloth rag to dust off all the surfaces.

  3. To clean the blade, first remove the Front Grill and cover by unscrewing the small screws around the edge of the Rear Grill.

  4. Wipe all the parts with a soft damp (not wet) cloth dipped in mild soapy water.
    Caution: Ensure that water doesn’t get into the Motor Unit.

  5. Use a dry cloth to thoroughly dry the blades and the grills before reassembling. Make sure that the fan is completely assembled before switching on again.

STORAGE
If you do not plan to use the fan for extended periods, it is recommended that it is cleaned and stored (preferably in its original packaging) in a cool, dry place.
