Product Usage Instructions
Inserting Batteries:
- Remove the battery cover from the compartment.
- Insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
- Re-attach the battery cover securely.
Turning the Power On:
- Slide the power switch on the side of the mouse to the ON position.
- The power indicator light will turn red briefly indicating power is on.
- The LED will blink red if battery level is low.
Pairing with a PC
For Windows
- Click on Start, then Settings, and select Devices.
- Select Bluetooth & other devices, then Add Bluetooth or other device.
- Choose Bluetooth and select ELECOM Relacon from Available devices to start pairing.
For macOS
- Go to Apple menu, System Preferences, then Bluetooth & other devices.
- Select Add Bluetooth or other device, choose Bluetooth and pair with ELECOM Relacon.
For Android
- Open Settings, click on Connected devices, then Pair new device.
- Hold down the pairing button on the mouse for 5 seconds until the battery light blinks red.
- Select ELECOM Relacon to pair with your Android device.

Q: How do I clean the trackball?
A: To clean the trackball, remove it using the ball removal hole and clean the
inside of the compartment gently with a soft cloth.

Each time the button is pressed, the count number (movement speed of the cursor) switches between three stages.
When the count number is changed, the current count number is shown by the number of times the LED light blinks.- one blink 500 dpi

Insert the batteries

Remove the battery cover.

Insert the batteries as instructed.
Insert with the correct battery plus and minus orientation. -
Re-attach the battery cover to its original state.
Turning the Power On
- Slide the power switch on the side of the product to the ON position.
- Slide the switch to the left to reveal the blue indicator.
- The power indicator light will light up red for a period of time.
- When remaining battery is low, the LED blinks red for a fixed time.
Power-saving mode
When the mouse is left untouched for a fixed period of time while the power is ON, it automatically shifts to power-saving mode. The mouse is released from the power-saving mode when it is touched.
- Mouse operation may be unstable for a few seconds after returning from the power-saving mode.
Pairing with a PC
- Pairing involves registering Bluetooth® devices (in this case, this product and your device) with each other, and authorizing a connection between them.
- This section covers Windows® and Macintosh standard Bluetooth functions. Depending on your device or Bluetooth® adaptor, unique Bluetooth® functions may be used. Please read the respective manuals for each function. Please carry out the pairing operation using your current mouse or touchpad on your device.
Windows® 10
If your computer does not support Bluetooth® 4.0 or if you have upgraded from Windows® 8.1 or Windows® 7, please use a Bluetooth® adapter compatible with Bluetooth® 4.0

Click on the “Start” button on the lower left of the screen, and click on the “Settings ” icon.
Click on “Devices” on the “Windows Settings” screen. -
Click on “Devices”.
The “Devices” page will appear. -
Click on “Bluetooth & other devices”, and click on “Add Bluetooth or other device”.

Click “Bluetooth”.

When the “Add a Pairing button device” page appears, hold down the pairing button on the side of the product for] around 5 seconds, and then release.
The product will be in pairing mode and the battery indicator light will blink red. -
Click “ELECOM Relacon”.
Start pairing. -
When it changes to “Connected”, click on “Done”.

This product is added to “Mouse, keyboard, & pen”, displays “Connected “ and pairing is complete.
Windows® 7
Please purchase an adapter compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 compatible with Windows 7 that you can purchase in your region. For the pairing method, please refer to the instruction manual for the Bluetooth® adapter compatible with Bluetooth 4.0.(* We cannot take responsibility for its operation)

Select “ELECOM Relacon” from the list of devices.
macOS Mojave (10.14)
Can only be used for Macintosh compatible with Bluetooth 4.0.

From the Apple menu, click “System Preferences…” to display the system environment settings screen.

Click “Bluetooth” to display the “Bluetooth” environment settings screen.

During device search, hold down the pairing button on the side of the product for around 5 seconds, and then release.
The product will be in pairing mode and the battery indicator light will blink red.
- Select “ELECOM Relacon”, and click “Connect” to start pairing.
- When it changes to “Connected”, pairing is completed.
Android
Instructions for Pixel 3 (Android 9) are as follows.

Open “Settings” on your device.

Hold down the pairing button on the side of the product for around 5 seconds, and then release.
The product will be in pairing mode and the battery indicator light will blink red. -
Tap on “Connected devices”

Tap on “Pair new device”
The Bluetooth will turn ON automatically if it is OFF. -
Select “ELECOM Relacon” from “Available devices” and tap on the display.
Pairing will begin automatically. -
When pairing is complete, “ELECOM Relacon” will appear under “Connected devices”.
If pairing fails, delete “ELECOM Relacon” from “Available devices”. Turn OFF the Bluetooth on your device and switch off the power on this product before attempting the pairing again.
How to clean the trackball

Remove the battery cover.

Use a thin rounded stick to push the ball from behind.
Do not use a sharp and pointed end. -
Use a cotton bud or similar to remove the dust accumulated on the three contact surfaces of the red ball.
When cleaning around the optical sensor, take care not to damage the sensor.

WARNING

immediately stop using the product and remove the battery. If you continue to
use the product under these conditions, it may cause a fire or electric shock.

cause burns, remove the batteries from the product. After doing so, contact

Batteries
- For this product, use AAA alkaline battery, AAA manganese battery, or AAA type nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery.
- When not using this product for long periods of time, remove the battery. This may cause fluid leak or malfunction.
- Do not mix different types of batteries together or old batteries with fresh ones. Doing so may cause battery leakage and failure.
Cleaning the Product
- If the product body becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
Use of a volatile liquid (such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol) may affect the material quality and color of the product.V
Precautions on wireless
- This product is a wireless device that can use the entire 2.4 GHz band, and is able to avoid the mobile entity identification device range.TheGFSK method is adopted as the radio wave method, and the interference distance is 10m.
The 2.4 GHz band is also used in medical devices, Bluetooth® and wireless LAN devices of the IEEE 802.11b/11g/11n standards.
Before using this product, check whether “other wireless stations” are not operating nearby.
In the unlikely event that radio interference occurs between this product and “other wireless stations”, change the location of use or stop using this product.
Other wireless stations” refer to industrial, scientific, medical instruments which use the same 2.4 GHz as this product, as well as other wireless stations of the same type, such as in-house mobile entity identification wireless stations requiring a license, specific low power wireless stations and amateur wireless stations not requiring a license, used in plant production lines.
WARNING
- Do not use in equipment which may cause serious effects due to it malfunctioning. In rare cases, it may be affected by radio waves of the same frequency or radio waves of mobile phones from outside, causing a malfunction, deterioration in operation, or stop working.
- Do not use this product in places where radio wave usage is prohibited, such as hospitals. Radio waves of this product may affect electronic devices and medical devices (for example pacemakers).
- Due to the possibility of hindering safe navigation of aircraft, use of wireless mice in aircraft is prohibited by the Civil Aeronautics Act. Turn off the power of the wireless mice before boarding and do not ever use after boarding.
- Please note that we can not assume any responsibility, even if events such as an accident or social damage occur due to a failure of this product.
