This guide provides instructions on how to configure a network with AES67 Audio over IP requiring PTP Transparent Clock. It involves configuring the network for AES67 Audio over IP and enabling PTPv2 on each switch.
Usage Instructions
- Open the Engage controller and navigate to Site Settings.
- Click on the menu icon for the default VLAN and select Edit.
- From the Profile Template drop-down, choose Audio AES67.
- Click on Next.
- Click on Next.
- Click on Apply.
- Click on Confirm.
- Click on Devices.
- Select Configure for the first switch.
- Click on Network Profiles.
- Enable the toggle for PTP residency time stamping.
- Click on Save.
- Click on Devices.
- Select Configure for the next switch.
- Click on Network Profiles.
- Enable the toggle for PTP residency time stamping.
- Click on Save.
- If you have more switches on your network, repeat the above steps to enable PTP residency time stamping for each switch.
- Once completed, your network will be configured with AES67 Audio over IP requiring PTP transparent clock.
