Intended use

This product is only intended for:
Indoor use in a household or a similar environment such as:

  • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
  • farm houses;
  • by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
  • bed and breakfast type environments;

This stand mixer is used for kneading, whipping, stirring, and other multi- functional tasks.

General safety

DANGER!
Warning – Death hazard!

  • Do not clean the basic product under running water. The product contains electrical components.
  • Do not allow any water or other liquid to enter the motor housing.

WARNING!
Risk of physical injury!

  • Repairs must only be performed by authorised service technicians. Do not open the basic product as it can result in damage to property and injury to people. The warranty may also be void. The individual components of the basic product may not be disassembled, repaired or modified.
  • Unplug the product before cleaning or maintenance. When cleaning, make sure that no liquid comes into the switches and buttons.
  • Do not submerge the product in water.

WARNING!

  • Users must operate in strict accordance with the requirements indicated in the operating manual.
  • When positioning the product, ensure the power plug is accessible.
  • The product shall not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
  • Do not replace the power cord yourself. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or authorised technicians to avoid hazard.
  • Repairs must only be performed by authorised service technicians.
  • Do not use the stand mixer outdoors, empty or unattended.
  • Do not touch the moving parts.
  • The power cord must be plugged into a grounded power outlet. The machine is an electric product and when the motor is running, the machine may produce a static reaction.
  • Do not let fingers, skin, clothing, hair or jewelry come into contact with moving parts when the machine is in operation. This may result in mechanical errors or even personal injury.
  • When the head of the machine of the machine is lifted or pressed down, fingers should not be placed in the gap. Observe the warning label on the product.
  • Do not use the product close to radiators, cookers, fire source, easy (curtains, textiles, etc.), induction cooker, oven, gas cooker, refrigerator, rice cooker, or other heat sources.
  • To prevent electric shocks, do not place the stand mixer near or allow any water or other liquids to enter the motor housing.
  • Do not tie, bundle or hang the main power cord on the edge of a table or cabinet, to avoid tripping over the cord.
  • Look at the rating label at the bottom of the product to check the rating voltage and connect the product to the appropriate power supply. This product can only work with an AC power supply. This product must be used with the power type available on the rating label. If you are not sure about the current power supply, consult your manufacturer or local power distributor.
  • Any repair performed by someone who is not a qualified technician puts the users of the product at risk of personal injury. This risk may stem from opening or removing covers or from handling other electrical parts.
  • Always turn off and disconnect the product from the power supply in the following situations: when the product is not in use, when it is left unattended, before assembling or disassembling, before installing or changing accessories, before cleaning, or when handling parts that can move when the stand mixer is in use.
  • Be careful when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl, and during cleaning, disassembly and installation of accessories.
  • In the event of a power failure, make sure that the machine is unplugged when accessories are installed.

CAUTION!

  • Use the recommended function to make the corresponding food to avoid damage to the machine or injury. See section “Controls and settings”, page 16.
  • The product should only be used for its intended purposes. Misuse of yourproduct can cause injury.
  • This product has an overheating protection device and cannot work for a long time. If continuous work exceeds more than 15 minutes, it is recommended to stop and let the machine cool down for 30 minutes.
  • Do not let walls and other objects cover the air outlet, in order to facilitate heat dissipation.
  • Do not use the product without sufficient space and air ventilation around the product. This leads to overheating.
  • When positioning the product, place it on a flat and horizontal worktop before using it, as the product may vibrate and move otherwise.
  • The machine cannot be connected to the power supply when installing the kneading dough hook and other accessories.
  • The splash guard must be installed before using the stand mixer.
  • Do not press down or lift up the head directly without using the head lever located at the back of the stand mixer. This may cause overload and damage, and it is not covered by the warranty.
  • Always hold the metal joint part when installing or removing the whisk; do not hold the steel wire, as it may damage the whisk.

NOTE!

  • Adopts a power feedback setting, which can automatically adjust the output power and speed according to load conditions, with a short delay during turning on the machine and adjusting speed. The speed is not always constant when operating under different conditions. This delay is normal.
  • Knead at speeds 1-3; speeds above 3 and Pulse are not allowed during kneading. Operating the kneader at speeds above 3 during kneading may cause overload and damage, and this is not covered by warranty.
  • There is a ‘micro safety switch’ located at the combination of the upper and lower body.
    – When the stand mixer is connected to the power supply and in use, and the head lever is pressed, it will remember the working time and speed data. When the head is closed, the stand mixer will stop, and you need to touch the Power On/Off touch area to resume working.
    – If the head lever is pressed during use the stand mixer will immediately stop working.
    – If the Power On/Off touch area is touched for 1 second during use, the stand mixer will stop working. If the Power On/Off touch area is touched for 3 seconds, the stand mixer will turn off.

WARNING!
Safety for children and people with disabilities

  • Children must not play with the product. The stand mixer is not a toy.
  • Keep the product and the power cord out of reach of children.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Only let the following groups use the product if they are supervised or if instructions are provided to them about how to use the product in a safe way.
  • They must understand the hazards involved.
    – Children. (Children younger than 8 years old must be continuously supervised.)
    – Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.
    – Persons with lack of experience and knowledge.

Disposal

Dispose of packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner. Recycling packaging, while observing national and local regulations, can reduce the consumption of raw materials and the amount of waste in landfill sites.
This product is marked in compliance with European Directive 2012/19/EU, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product should not be treated as household waste.
Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact the relevant municipal body in charge of waste management, your household waste disposal service or the store where you purchased the product.

Unpack the stand mixer
Check the packaging and product for any damage. If the packaging or product is damaged, contact the transport operator and the retailer where the product was purchased.
Keep the original packaging to store the stand mixer when not in use.

USING THE STAND MIXER

Before first use
Before using the stand mixer, make sure it has been thoroughly cleaned. See section “Clean the stand mixer”, page 17.
Using the stand mixer
This stand mixer is used for kneading, whipping, stirring, and other multi- functional tasks.
WARNING!

  • Always use a well-grounded power outlet when plugging in the stand mixer.
  • Always turn off and disconnect the product from the power supply before installing the accessories, mixing bowl or splash guard.
  • When positioning the product, ensure the power plug is accessible.

CAUTION!

  • If your product does not work properly under normal conditions, please contact your dealer with your proof of purchase.

NOTE!

  •  Close the top housing before use; otherwise, the stand mixer will not start for safety reasons.
  • When kneading or stirring, it is recommended to use the splash guard when the ingredients are more than 300g to prevent them from splashing out.
  • The whisk accessory is used to easily achieve the ideal puffed foam effect for protein, cream cake, ice cream, bread, condensed milk, defat cake, etc.
  • The beater accessory is used for making cakes, muffins, cold dishes, salads, and other foods. Quickly mix the ingredients to the desired extent.
  • The stand mixer has another connection for additional accessories on the head.
  • Place the stand mixer near the power outlet to quickly and easily turn off the stand mixer, if needed.
  1. Place the stand mixer on a flat and stable area, such as a horizontal worktop.

  2. Hold the head with one hand and press the head lever with the other hand. The head will automatically lift upwards. Gently hold the head until it clicks.

  3. Place the mixing bowl on the base and turn it clockwise to secure it in place.

  4. Install the splash guard onto the stand mixer.
    The splash guard holds in place using rubber holders.
    NOTE! When kneading or stirring and the ingredients weigh more than 300 g, it is recommended to use the splash guard to prevent the ingredients from splashing out.

  5. Install the desired accessory onto the wheel shaft, gently push the accessory upward, and then turn it.

  6. CAUTION!
    • Always hold the metal joint part when installing or removing the whisk; do not hold the steel wire, as it may damage the whisk.
    • Do not use the whisk to mix an excessive mixture, such as condensed milk fat and sugar blocks, as the whisk will be damaged.

  7. Press the head lever with one hand, then gently press the head down, release the head lever when head is free and continue to gently press down the head until it clicks in place.

  8. Plug in the stand mixer. When the stand mixer is connected to power, an acoustic signal sounds, and the Power On/Off touch area starts to flash.

  9. To activate the stand mixer press the Power On/Off touch area for 3 seconds, display now lights up. The stand mixer is in standby mode and is ready to use.

  10. Select the desired programme. See section “Use the programmes”, page 14.

  11. After using the stand mixer, touch the Power On/Off touch area for 3 seconds to turn off the stand mixer and unplug it.

To disassemble the accessories do the steps 2-6 in reverse order.
NOTE! Store the product cleaned and packed in the original packaging in a cool and dry place when it is not in use.

Use the programmes

The stand mixer has manual mode, countdown mode, automatic kneading, and Pulse function.
Manual mode

  1. Set the speed in manual mode:
    a. In standby mode, rotate the control knob to the desired speed (1 – 12); the time is displayed as total operating time.
    While turning the control knob, the stand mixer will operate at the selected speed setting.

Automatic kneading
Use the automatic kneading programme for dough mixtures that require kneading, such as flour to be formed into smooth dough.

  1. In standby mode, touch the kneading touch area.
    The stand mixer enters the automatic kneading programme and the display starts to count down. Default time for automatic kneading programme is 6 minutes.
    The stand mixer will automatically change from speed setting 1 to 3 when using the automatic kneading programme, with the first speed setting at 1 for 30 seconds, the second speed setting at 2 for 30 seconds, and the last speed setting at 3 for 5 minutes.
    The stand mixer automatically stops when the programme is done.

  2. To adjust the speed setting:
    a. Touch the Power On/Off touch area.
    The stand mixer is paused
    b. Press the kneading touch area once.
    The speed value flashes.
    c. Rotate the control knob to adjust the speed between settings 1 – 6.
    d. Press the Power On/Off touch area to continue programme.

  3. To adjust the time during automatic kneading mode:
    a. Touch the Power On/Off touch area.
    The stand mixer is paused
    b. Touch the kneading touch area twice.
    The minute value starts to flash.
    c. Rotate the control knob to select the minutes (0 – 30).
    d. When the desired time is set, touch the Power On/Off touch area to start the stand mixer.
    When the countdown reaches 0, the stand mixer stops. The kneading touch area flashes, and the display shows ‘END’.

To stop the programme:

  1. Touch and hold the kneading touch area or the Power On/Off touch area for 1.5 seconds.
    The time and speed values flash 00.

Pulse
The Pulse function can be used for foods that require high-speed operation, such as whipped cream or egg whites.

  1. In standby mode, touch and hold the Pulse touch area.
    The stand mixer starts at the highest speed of 12.
    To stop the programme, release the pressing of the Pulse touch area.

Using the scale mode

  • When the scale is measured in “g”, the maximum weight is 5000 g and the accuracy is 1 g.
  • When the scale is measured in “lb”, the maximum weight is 12 lb and the accuracy is 0.01 lb.If the weight exceeds the scale’s capacity or if the weight is lower than the scale can measure, the display shows ‘—-‘.
  • When the stand mixer is in scale mode, it cannot operate other functions or turn on. Scale mode automatically turns off the stand mixer.

Using the scale mode

  1. In standby mode, press the scale button quickly to start the scale mode.
    NOTE!
    • Install the bowl before resetting the scale.
    • The default weight unit is “g”. Press the scale button quickly twice to switch between “g” and “lb”.

  2. Press the scale button quickly to reset the scale to 0.
    Note the weight before resetting the scale.

  3. To exit scale mode and turn on the stand mixer.
    a. Press and hold scale button for 3 seconds to exit the scale mode.
    b. Turn the control knob and turn on the stand mixer.

Controls and settings

Speed Function
Automatic kneading programme, speed 1 – 3 Used for automatic kneading.
Pulse function Can be used for beating eggs, whipping cream and squeezing

noodles manually.
Power On/Off touch area| Used to pause / turn off / turn on / confirm / exit.
Manual programme, speed 1 – 3| Used for kneading dough and stir salad.
Manual programme, speed 3 – 6| Used for mixing butter, jam, mashed potatoes, mixed fillings, etc.
Manual programme, speed 7 – 9| Used for stirring ingredients.
Manual programme, speed 9 – 11| Used for mincing meat and sausage filling (Additional accessories needed).
Manual programme, speed 12| Used for beating eggs, whipping cream and squeezing noodles.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the stand mixer
Clean the product regularly.
DANGER!
Warning – Death hazard!

  • Do not allow any water or other liquid to enter the motor housing.
  • Do not clean the basic product under running water. The product contains electrical components.

WARNING!
Unplug the stand mixer before cleaning. There is a risk of electric shock.
CAUTION!

  • Do not immerse the product, power cord, plug or product parts in water.
  • Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaning powder or polish on any part of the product. It can damage the surface finish.
  • Do not repair the product by yourself. The warranty will be void.
  • If the product does not work, contact the retailer from which you purchased the product.
  • Technical changes of function are only permitted by the manufacturer.
  • Regularly clean surfaces that can come in contact with food

Clean the stand mixer

  1. Unplug the stand mixer from the power socket.

  2. Use a damp cloth or sponge to clean the exterior of the stand mixer using a non-abrasive detergent.
    CAUTION! Let the stand mixer cool down before cleaning.

  3. Wash the plastic parts with clean water and general detergent.

  4. Wash the mixing bowl, blade discs, dough hook, whisk and beater using a general cleaning agent.
    CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or other special detergent.

  5. Wipe the stand mixer dry with a soft cloth.

Store the product cleaned and packed in the original packaging in a cool and dry place when it is not in use.

TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING!

  • Only authorised technicians may carry out repairs.
  • If you experience problems with the product, please see if the user instructions and troubleshooting information in the user manual can help you find a solution. If the problem persists:
    – turn off the product,
    – unplug the product from its power supply, and
    – contact the support.

WARNING!

  • Any repair performed by someone who is not a qualified technician puts the users of the product at risk of personal injury.
  • Any warranty claim resulting from repairs performed by someone who is not a qualified technician shall not be covered by the warranty.
Problem Cause Remedy

The stand mixer is not
working correctly| Main plug is not inserted| Connect main plug to power outlet
Power supply is not working| • Check the power supply.
• If it is not in working condition contact an authorised electrician.
The stand mixer dose not start| • Ensure that the head is in correct locked position.
• Turn the stand mixer off  for 10-15 seconds, thenturn it back on.
If the stand mixer dose not turn on, let it cool down and wait 30 minutes to try again.
Noise from the stand mixer| Abnormal noise during use.
Abnormal noise can occur if the mixing accessories and mixing bowl come into contact when you turn the stand mixer on.| • Check if the mixing bowl is correctly locked into place.
• Check to see if the mixing accessories are correctly installed.
Unstable stand mixer| Stand mixer moves during use| • Check if the rubber feet on the base of the stand mixer have fallen off.
• Check to see if the surface the stand mixer is placed on is level.

Error messages
