Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product is intended for grinding coffee and espresso beans. Do not use it for any other purpose.
The product is designed only for use in private household and must not be used in medicinal or commercial areas.
The manufacturer is not liable to damage caused by improper use.
Scope of delivery
After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Remove all packing materials before use.

In the case of damage resulting from non-compliance with these operating instructions the warranty claim becomes invalid! No liability is accepted for consequential damage! In the case of material damage or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions, no liability is accepted!

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation.
Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the packaging material. -
This product shall not be used by children. Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children.

This product can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

Intended use
WARNING! Misuse may lead to injury. Use this product solely in accordance with these instructions. Do not attempt to modify the product in any way.
ATTENTION! Damage to property! Do not use the product to crush ice cubes! This will irreparably damage the product!
Electrical safety
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the product
yourself.
In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel
only.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Never use a damaged product. Disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet and contact your retailer if it is damaged.

The product is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage.

Before connecting the product to the socket outlet, check that the voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product’s rating label.

Regularly check the power plug and the power cord for damages.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. -
Protect the power cord against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze or bend it. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces and open flames.
Operation
- Always disconnect the product from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
CAUTION! Risk of injury! Never try to remove the coffee beans from the container while the blade is still rotating.
CAUTION! Risk of injury! Wait until the blade stops rotating before removing the lid . NEVER try to grasp the blade if it is still rotating!
ATTENTION! Damage to property! When filling the container , make sure no foreign objects (hair, jewellery, etc.) may accidentally fall into the container.

Do not overload the product. Overload can cause permanent damage to the product.

Do not place the product on hot plates (gas, electric, coal cooking range etc.).
Operate the product on a level, stable, clean, and dry surface. -
Do not cover the product while it is in use or shortly after use, when it is still warm.

Never touch the motor unit , the power cord or the power plug with wet hands.
-
Never immerse the motor unit of the product in liquid. Do not allow any liquids to enter the casing of the motor unit.

Handle the extremely sharp blade with caution, it can cause injuries. Reassemble the product after using and / or cleaning it so that you do not injure yourself with the exposed blade.

Keep the blade out of the reach of children.

Lay the power cord and extension cords in such a way that they may not be tripped over or otherwise damaged.

No action is needed from users to shift the product between 50 and 60 Hz. The product adapts itself for both 50 and 60 Hz.

Fill the product at least up to the MIN mark or with 7 g (approx. 1 tbsp) of coffee beans. Do not fill the product with more than 70 g (approx. 8 tbsp) of coffee beans.
Do not exceed the MAX mark .
Cleaning and care
WARNING! Risk of injury! Disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet before cleaning and when not in use.
CAUTION! Risk of injury! Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blade and when emptying the container .
- Do not pull the power plug out of the socket outlet by the power cord .
- Protect the product, its power cord and power plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water.
- Protect the product against heat. Do not place the product close to open flames or heat sources such as stoves or heating appliances.
Before first use
- Remove the packaging material. Check if all parts are complete.
- Operate the product empty in order to let any production residues evaporate (approx. 45 seconds).
Before use
- Clean the product (see “Cleaning and care”).
- Place the product on a suitable and level surface.
- Unwind the power cord from the cord retainer . Guide the power cord through the recess on the edge of the housing.
- Connect the power plug to a socket outlet. Now, the product is ready for use.
Operation
- Turn the lid in a counter clockwise direction and take it off.
- Fill the container with the required quantity of coffee beans.
NOTES:
-
Fill the product at least up to the MIN mark or with 7 g (approx. 1 tbsp) of coffee beans.
Do not fill the product with more than 70 g (approx. 8 tbsp) of coffee beans.
Do not exceed the MAX mark .
Otherwise the coffee beans will not be ground properly. -
Use a scale to measure the weight of the coffee beans. Different brands have different volumes.

Required quantities per cup of coffee:
- Filter coffee: approx. 6 to8 g
- Espresso: approx. 9 g
- Refer to your coffee maker’s instruction manual for further information.

Place the lid onto the product. Align with . Turn the lid in a clockwise direction until is aligned with .
NOTE: The product operates only when the lid [1] is properly closed and locked.
- Press and hold the button until the coffee beans have been ground to your requirements.
NOTES:
- If coffee powder accumulates on the edge of the container during grinding, where it is out of the reach of the blade : Shake the product gently so that the coffee powder falls back inside.
- The coffee grinding grade is influenced by the quantity of coffee beans and the length of grinding.
- The longer the coffee beans are grounded, the finer the coffee powder. Shorter grinding results in coarser coffee powder:
NOTES:
- Espresso: Coffee powder for espresso always requires very fine grinding. To reach the grinding grade needed for espresso, it is recommended to grind a maximum of 36 g (approx. 4 tbsp.) of espresso beans for around 41 seconds.
- Refer to your coffee maker’s instruction manual for further information on the grinding degree of beans.
- Once the coffee beans are ground to your requirements: Release the button . Wait until the blade has come to a standstill.
- Disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet.
- Turn the lid in a counter clockwise direction and take it off.
- Remove the coffee powder with a spoon.
- Remove residues with the cleaning brush .
NOTES:
- After using the product 2 times (2 x 41 seconds with 1 minute pause in between) in succession: We recommend not to grind any coffee for 60 minutes to let the product cool.
- After using the product 4 times (4 x 25 seconds with 1 minute pause in between) in succession: We recommend not to grind any coffee for 60 minutes to let the product cool.
- Cleaning and care
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Before cleaning: Always disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet.
WARNING! Do not immerse the product’s electrical components in water or
other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
- Clean the product after every use.
- Remove residues in the container with the cleaning brush .
- Regularly wipe
- the lid
- the container
- the motor unit with a damp cloth.
- If required, use a mild washing-up liquid on the cloth. Afterwards, wipe with a cloth moistened only with clear water to remove any detergent residue.
- Do not use cleaning sprays and other aggressive cleaning agents, as they can cause stains, smears or clouding on the surfaces.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
Storage
- Always wipe the product down thoroughly before storing.
- Wrap the power cord in a counter-clockwise direction around the cord retainer . Guide the end of the power cord through the recess at the bottom
- Store the product in its original packaging.
- Store the product in a dry, secure location away from children.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibreboard / 80–98: composite materials.
The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.
Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN 384722_2107) available as proof of purchase.
You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving, on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
