THE PARTIES

ADJUSTING THE HELMET

Optimal protection can only be achieved through an optimal fit.
If the helmet does not adapt optimally to your head shape, please choose another size or another model.

OUTSIDE OF THE HELMET
The helmet should fit the head well and should be worn horizontally. It must not be placed on the back of the head, but also not pulled too far over the forehead. It should not be shifted left or right.

It is important that the rim of the helmet is about two finger widths above the bridge of the nose.

Adjusting the head ring (depending on the MODEL)
Check for a tight fit by gently shaking your head with the chin strap. If the helmet is slightly displaced, the adjustment ring (1) must be tightened.

This is done by using the dial switch (2). Turning to the right decreases the circumference of the band and turning to the left increases it.

**Adjusting the straps (depending on the model)

**

In the event of a fall, the helmet will protect your head optimally only if the straps are adjusted correctly and closed firmly.
Note that the straps must not cover your ears and that the closure of the chin strap must not rest on your chin.
One strap must run in front (and the other behind) the ear.

  1. The front straps should be vertical, and the rear straps should be at an angle to the ear. Both bands form a triangle around the ear on both sides.

  2. To tighten or loosen the straps, open the strap parts and slide them up or down. Then fix the belt parts again.

  3. If necessary, the horizontal position of the straps can be adjusted. To do this, part of the tape must be pulled through the entire support system. The protruding part must then be pulled out at the chinstrap closure
    .

  4. The chin strap closure must then be closed. This should be centered under your chin. Tighten the chin belt by pulling the two belt ends A + B. You should leave a finger space wide to get enough air. To open the chinstrap, press both sides of the closure with one hand at the same time.

Check the fit periodically to make sure the straps are not loose and the helmet is in the best position.

BELT WITH MAGNETIC CLOSURE (FIDLOCK)
The magnetic closure of the belt is closed (LOCKED) or re-leased (UNLOCKED) as follows:

MAINTENANCE | CARE

  • The helmet should be checked regularly for visible damage.
  • After a serious fall, the helmet must be replaced, even if no damage can be found.
  • Bicycle helmets should be replaced with new ones after 5-6 years, because material fatigue prevents optimal protection.
  • Only drive with the belt closed.
  • The earpieces of the glasses should be above the straps at all times – in the event of a fall, the glasses can fall away and thus avoid injuries to the eyes.
  • The helmet must not be painted or glued on. The paint or glue may contain components that reduce the stability of the helmet and thus its protective effect.
  • No changes nst not be exposed to temperatures above 60 °C, as it loses its protective properties. Please do not keep the helmet near radiators or in the sun behind glass, eg in the car.
    • The helmet shell, the removable pads and the adjustment ring as well as the straps can be cleaned with lukewarm water and a mild soapy solution. The pads and adjustment ring can be removed from the helmet for this. The inside of the helmet should then be positioned with care and the fit and proper seat of the helmet should be checked. Do not use solvents, such as thinners or similar, for cleaning.

WARRANTY

We offer a 2 year warranty for this bike helmet.
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase (purchase receipt, purchase voucher). Please send complaints in relation to defective bicycle helmets during the warranty period to your dealer or to the indicated service address. During this time, we will repair any defects due to material or functional defects free of charge. The warranty does not include batteries, improper handling, falls, impacts and the like. Repair or replacement of the helmet should not start a new warranty period. The warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase remains decisive.
