Safety Instructions

• Keep the monitor away from extreme heat sources or fire.
• Do not use the monitor If It has been dropped or damaged in any way.
• Repairs to electrical e1.1ulpmant should only be performed by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may place the user at serious risk.
• Keep the monitor free from dust, lint, etc.
• Do not use this monitor for anything other than its intended use.
• Keep the monitor out of reach of children.
• This product is not a toy

Charging Cable Connections

• Connect the Type-C power cord to the power port of the monitor and insert the other end into the Wall Charger.
• It will take about 15 seconds for the monitor to start up.

Compatibility

• This HD Smart Baby Monitor is compatible with the Brookstone App and with devices using iOS 8.0 and above with a Wi-Fi option, or Android 5.0 and above with
• Wi-Fi option. This device does not currently support 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. Please see that your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band of your router.

Operating Instructions

Search and download the Brookstone App from the App Store, Google™ play or SCAN QR CODE HERE. Open the App, and it will ask you to register your device. Select your country, enter your email, get the Verification Code and input your password to confirm.

Baby Monitor parts and description

1.  Micro SD card slot. Use 128Gb or less Micro SD card to enable recording. The Micro SD card has to be formatted in advance as a FAT32 file system.
2. Reset slot. Press and hold the Reset key for 5 seconds to reset the camera.
3. Light sensor.
4. Microphone. Use the App to converse for 2-way audio.
5. Camera lens.
6. Camera activity indicator. Red colour: camera system started; Blue blinking: ready to pair; Solid Blue: the camera is online. The night lamp ON/OFF function is controlled by App.
7. Type-C USB power port (Input power: 5V DC, Max.1-1.5A).
8. 1/4″ Screw socket for mounting the flexible bracket or other tripod accessories.
9. Speaker
10. Temperature Sensor (is attached to the charging cable, not shown).

Note: If reset is required, use the Reset Key to press into the Reset slot on the top of the monitor (No.2) for several seconds until the monitor starts beeping.

Adding a new Baby Monitor to your network via the App

1. Power the camera by using the supplied Wall Charger and the Charging Cable. The camera will be turned on automatically. Check to be sure the camera is in pairing mode. The Camera activity indicator (6) will turn Red and then start flashing rapidly in Blue color. If it’s not already flashing, press and hold the Reset slot (2) with the Reset key until you hear an audible tone.
2. Launch the “Brookstone” App and click the “Add” icon and your Baby Monitor should be automatically discovered by the App. Once connected successfully, the App will show “Done”. Click “Done” to enter the next step.
3. Select the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (does not support 5GHz) of your phone or tablet and input your network password, then tap ‘Next’. If the monitor does not automatically connect, please check that the Bluetooth™ on your phone is turned on and you gave permission for the App to access the Bluetooth™ & Wi-Fi.
4. Wait for about 10 seconds until you hear the voice message ‘Ding prompt’, then 20 – 30 seconds later ‘Please configure network’.

Troubleshooting Monitor connection:
Make sure the Camera activity indicator is flashing. If the Wi-Fi signal is not flashing, you will need to press and hold Reset. Make sure the Wi-Fi network is a 2.4GHz network, the device will not connect to a 5GHz network. Test your Wi-Fi network connection with other devices such as your phone or computer to make sure it is operating properly. Use your phone to check the range, it is recommended to have at least 2 signal bars showing for proper connection. Your Wi-Fi network password is case-sensitive, make sure you are entering it correctly.

There could be a temporary issue with your Internet connection (e.g., service disruption). Please try again in a few minutes.
Make sure your Wi-Fi router is turned On. The Monitor may not have power, make sure the wall switch and breaker is in the ON position. Make sure the Monitor is getting a good signal from your Wi-Fi router. Use your phone to check the range, it is recommended to have at least 2 signal bars showing for proper connection. The Monitor may have been disconnected from your Wi-Fi network, press and hold Reset until you hear an audible tone.
