Product Usage Instructions
Sensor Replacement Instructions:
- Remove the Sensor:
- Remove the power and ethernet cables from the sensor.
- Loosen the bolt in the rod mount. (Leave the rod attached to the shield mount)
- Remove the IFM sensor assembly and rod mount from the rod mounted to the shield.
- Remove the rod mount from the rod mount bracket.
- Remove the sensor mounting bracket from the sensor per the remote IFM sensor instructions provided.
- Replace the Sensor:
- Secure the sensor mounting bracket following the remote IFM sensor instructions.
- Insert the two halves of the rod mount into the rod mount bracket.
- Slide the rod into the rod mount and tighten the bolt to secure it.
- Orient the sensor downwards with the power connector pointing towards the sensor shield.
- Connect the power and ethernet cables to the sensor.
Set Up Sensor:
- Select “ QubeVu Manager ” from the QubeVu Manager menu.
- Enter account credentials on the login screen (default username: admin, default password: password).
- Select “ Admin Tools ” from the menu.
- Select “ Setup ” from the menu.
- Select the “ Sensor List ” tab.
- Select “ Discover ” to scan for new sensors.
- Select “ Remove ” to remove disconnected sensors and “ Add ” to add newly installed sensors.
- Calibrate the sensors following the iDimension QubeVu Administrator Guide (PN 221652).

Q: How do I orient the sensor during replacement?
A: Orient the sensor downwards with the power connector pointing towards the sensor shield as shown in Figure 2. -
Q: What are the default login credentials for QubeVu Manager?
A: The default username is admin and the default password is password.
The iDimension LTL, LTL-XL, PWD and iDimension Flex products use remote IFM® sensors to measure the freight dimensions. Replace faulty sensors with the sensor from the dimensioner’s replacement parts list that corresponds to the product.
Remove the Sensor

Remove the power and ethernet cables to the sensor.

Loosen the bolt in the rod mount.
NOTE: Leave the rod attached to the shield mount. -
Remove the IFM sensor assembly and rod mount from the rod that is mounted to the shield.

Remove the rod mount from the rod mount bracket.

Remove the sensor mounting bracket from the sensor per the remote IFM sensor instructions provided with the unit.
Replace the Sensor

Secure the sensor mounting bracket to the sensor by following the remote IFM sensor instructions provided with the unit.

Insert the two halves of the rod mount into the rod mount bracket.

Slide rod into the rod mount.

Tighten bolt to secure rod.
NOTE: Orient the sensor downwards with the power connector pointing toward the sensor shield. -
Connect the power and ethernet cables to the sensor.
Set Up Sensor
To add the installed sensor to the QubeVu Manager, perform the following procedure:

Select from the QubeVu Manager menu.

The QubeVu Manager login screen displays. Enter account credentials.
NOTE: The default username and password are admin and password. -
Select from the Admin Tools menu.

Select from the Setup menu

Select the Sensor List tab.

Select Discover. System scans for new sensors. The status of the sensor that has been removed displays as Disconnected. The status of the newly installed sensor displays as Available.

Select Remove to remove the disconnected sensor from the list of sensors.

Select Add to add the newly installed sensor to the list of sensors.

Calibrate the sensors according to the iDimension QubeVu Administrator Guide (PN 221652).
