Product Usage Instructions

Touch Controls
The Touch Area (Multi-Functional Touch Panel) is located in the upper part of the earbuds handle.

Wearing Earbuds
The earbud marked with L is worn on the left ear, and the earbud marked with R is worn on the right ear.

How to download & connect to ‘Boult Amp’ App

1. Install the ‘Boult Amp app from the Play Store or App Store.
2. Opening the Case: The 4 Case LEDs will turn on, one by one and stop at the current case battery level.
3. Closing the Case: After 1 second, all the case and front LEDs will breathe for 6 times and turn off completely.
4. Charging the Case: Front LEDs will breathe continuously until charging is complete.
5. When fully Charged: The front LEDs will glow continuously.

Power ON/OFF

• Power ON: Auto: Open the charging case and take out the earbuds to Power ON. Manually: Tap and hold the multifunction button (MFB) for 3 seconds.
• Power OFF: Auto: Place both earbuds in the charging case, close the lid. Manually: Hold MFB for 5 seconds.

Voice Assistant & Controls

• Long Press the MFB for 2s for Voice Assistant.
• Double Tap the right MFB to go to the Next Track.
• Tap the MFB once to Answer a Call.
• Double Tap the left MFB to go to the Previous Track.
• Triple Tap the right MFB for Volume +.
• Triple Tap the left MFB for Volume -.
• Tap the MFB four times for Game/Music Mode.

Pairing

1. Open the charging case, and take out the earbuds; the earbuds LEDs will start flashing automatically until paired with a device.
2. Activate Bluetooth on the device, turn on Bluetooth, search for pairing name ‘Boult Audio Airbass’ and click on it.
3. Single Earbud Usage (Mono Mode): Please note that both earbuds can be used in Mono Mode. When both earbuds are connected, put one earbud back into the charging case; the other earbud can be used normally.

How to download & connect to ‘Boult Amp’ App

Install the ‘Boult Amp’ app from the Play Store or App Store

• Take the earbuds out of the charging case
• In the Boult Amp App click on “Add Device” and search for your Boult earbuds
• Select the pairing name “Boult Audio AirBass” and complete the pairing process
• If a pop-up doesn’t appear, select “go to settings” from the App screen & select “Boult Audio Airbass” to connect your earbuds
• Your earbuds are now connected; get the most out of your earbuds with available features on the App

How to use your BOULT Mustang Earbuds

LED Functions

• Opening the Case

  • The 4 Case LEDs will turn on, one by one and stop at the current case battery level
  • After 1 second, all the case and front LEDs will breathe for 6 times and turn off completely

• Closing the Case
  Front LEDs will breathe for 10 times and then turn off completely

• Charging the Case
  Front LEDs will breathe continuously until charging is complete

• When fully Charged
  Front LEDs will glow continuously

• When the buds are connected

  • Music Mode: Both earbuds’ LEDs stay Off
  • Gaming mode: Both earbuds’ LEDs will blink together

Power ON/OFF

• Power ON:
  • Auto : Open the charging case and take out the earbuds to Power ON.
  • Manually: Tap and hold the multifunction button (MFB) for 3 seconds.
• Power OFF
  • Auto : Place both the earbuds in the charging case, and close the lid.

Manually: Hold MFB for 5 seconds.

• Play/Pause
  Tap the MFB once

• Next Track
  Double Tap the right MFB

• Previous Track
  Double Tap the left MFB

• Volume +
  Triple Tap the right MFB

• Volume –
  Triple Tap the left MFB

• Voice Assistant –
  Long Press the MFB for 2s

• Answer the Call
  Tap the MFB once

• End Call/Reject
  Double Tap the MFB

• Game/Music Mode
  Tap the MFB four times

Pairing

Bluetooth Lost

• Bluetooth Lost : Turn off the mobile phone’s Bluetooth, earbuds will enter pairing mode and can pair with other devices.
• If the connection range is exceeded, the earbuds will enter back into connection mode. In case of no connection within 5 minutes, the earbuds will turn off.

Reset

If your earbuds fail to pair, or only one works, reset them.

• Delete all “Boult Audio Airbass” Bluetooth records on the phone and turn off Bluetooth.
• Put earbuds in the charging case and then take out to pairing modes, tap L&R buds 5 times simultaneously, hear “DU” prompt tone to clear all pairing.
• Put the earbuds back into the charging case.

FAQ

Q: What should I do if my earbuds lose Bluetooth connection?
A: If Bluetooth connection is lost, turn off your mobile phone’s Bluetooth. The earbuds will enter pairing mode and can be paired with other devices. If the connection range is exceeded, the earbuds will enter back into connection mode. In case of no connection within 5 minutes, the earbuds will turn off.
