Soundbar Panels

1. Power/Mode
   Long press for 3 sec to power ON/OFF
   Short press the button to change mode
   Volume +

2. Press “+” to increase the volume

3. Volume –
   Press “-” to decrease the volume

4. USB Port
   Plug in supported flash drive to play is USB mode

5. Press to play/pause music

Connection Methods

Firstly connect Sub-Woofer to “SW-OUT” port in the soundbar.

HDMI (ARC):

Connect “HD (ARC)” input port of the soundbar to “HDMI (ARC)” output port of the TV with HDMI cable.

AUX Cable:

Connect “Aux-In” input port of the soundbar to “Headphone” output port of the TV with an Aux cable.

Optical Cable:

Connect “Optical” input port of the soundbar to “Optical” output port of the other devices
(Smart TV, Blueray disk player, Gaming console, etc.) with an Optical cable.

Bluetooth:

Connect with Bluetooth enabled device by switching soundbar to Bluetooth mode; connection name “Bassbox X180”

Remote Control

1. Power/Mode
   Press once to power ON/OFF

2. Mode
   Press to switch between Bluetooth,
   USB, Aux-In, HDMI (ARC-In), and Optical-In modes

3. Volume +
   Press to increase the volume

4. In Bluetooth/USB mode press once to go to previous song

5. Movie
   Press to enable “Movie” mode

6. Pair
   Press to disconnect the connected devices or search new Bluetooth device.

7. Reset
   Press to restore the default factory settings

8. Mute
   Press to mute/unmute the soundbar

9. Press to play/pause music

10. In Bluetooth/USB mode press once to go to next song

11. Volume –
    Press to decrease the volume

12. Music
    Press to enable “Music” mode

13. News
    Press to enable “News” mode

14. Bass
    Press Bass key followed by volume up or volume down to adjust bass levels.
    

Operating Instructions

You’ve successfully powered on when the power adapter is connected to the Speaker and the display glows with a prompt voice. You can choose the required mode by short pressing the Power/Mode button on the side panel or the Mode button on the remote control.

Bluetooth Mode:

1. Press the ‘MODE’ button repeatedly till Bluetooth Mode is selected and Soundbar shows “BT” on its LED screen.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device, choose ‘Bassbox X180’. The display will blink, indicating that it is awaiting pairing. Once pairing is successful, the indicator remains on and the display shows ‘BT’ and stops flashing.
3. Now you can play music from your Bluetooth-enabled device on the sound bar. Press or button on the remote control to play previous or next song.

AUX Input:

If using the AUX cable, connect the speaker to audio source and select ‘AUX’ by using the Mode key on the remote control or the Power/Mode key on the side panel. ‘AUX’ will be displayed on the display accompanied by ‘AUX’ prompt.

HDMI/ ARC Input

If using an HDMI/ARC cable to connect the speaker, select ‘ARC’ through the mode button on the remote control or the Power/Mode key on the side plate. The screen will display ‘ARC’ accompanied by ‘ARC’ prompt.

OPTICAL Input

If using OPTICAL cable to connect speaker, select ‘OPT’ – through the mode button on the remote control or the Power/Mode key on the side plate. Screen will display ‘OPT’ accompanied by ‘OPT’ prompt.

Recommended Placement

Soundbar:
Under the TV (if wall-mounted)/in front of the TV

Subwoofer:
On the floor, alongside the TV or in the front corner of the room.

Important Safety Instructions

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not dismantle the product and do not expose the product to rain or moisture. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.

1. Read the user manual before use. Keep all instructions for future reference.
2. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the rating label.
3. This product is intended for indoor, household use only.
4. To protect against electric shock: do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water or spray with liquids; do not place unit on windowsills or other places where it may be exposed to dripping or splashing of water; do not place vases or similar objects filled with liquids near the unit.
5. Do not use this product near water such as bathtubs, washbowls, swimming pools etc. where the likelihood of immersion or splashing occurs.
6. Keep the unit away from heat sources like radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products that produce heat. No open flame sources like candles should be placed on the unit.
7. Use only with attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. Use of attachments/accessories not recommended can be hazardous.
8. The soundbar is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the soundbar by a person responsible for their safety.
9. Do not cover the unit during use. Do not impede ventilation by covering ventilation openings with cloths, curtains or similar items.
10. Do not operate the product with a damaged cord or plug or if the product malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazard.
12. For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to access the inside of the product.
13. Do not clean the unit with any harsh chemicals as this might damage the finish. Wipe Dean with a dry cloth.
14. When removing the power plug from the wall outlet, always pull directly on the plug; never pull on the cord.
15. Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat, direct sunlight, fire or something similar.
16. Do not throw used batteries in your household rubbish. Dispose of it responsibly according to local regulations.
