How to use your X1 Buds?
Power On/Off
- Power on: Open the lid, and the earphones will turn on automatically. Or long-press the Multi-Function Touch (MFT) for 2 seconds to power on.
- Power off: Put the earbuds back into the case and close the lid. Or long-press the MFT for 5 seconds to power off.
Answer Call
Tap once on Right/Left MFT to answer an incoming call.
End Call
Tap twice on Right/Left MFT to end an ongoing call.
Reject Call
Tap twice on Right/Left MFT to reject an incoming call.
Voice Assistance
Long Press on the Left earbud’s MFT to activate Voice Assistance.
Play/Pause Music
Tap once on the Right/Left earbud’s MFT to play/pause music.
Previous Track
Tap twice on the Right earbud’s MFT to skip to the previous track while
listening to music.
Next Track
Tap twice on the Left earbud’s MFT to skip to the next track while listening
to music.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Left and Right Earbuds Pairing: Open the lid or put the power on manually by long pressing the MFT for 2 seconds. The L&R earbuds will automatically pair with each other.
- Pairing the earbuds with the device’s Bluetooth: One earbud light with flash. Then search for the pairing name “Boult Audio Maverick” on your Bluetooth device, click connect and complete pairing.
- Connected Successfully: You’ll get a voice note that says “connected”
- Automatically connect back: After the first successful connection, earbuds will connect to the last paired phone by default when Bluetooth is turned on.
Game Mode
Long press the Right earbud’s MFT for 3 sec to Turn On or Turn Off Game Mode.
You’ll get a “Combat Mode” and “Music Mode” voice note. The earbuds’ Indicator
light will have a breathing effect when in Combat Mode.

- Unpairing: Two blue lights quickly flash
- Waiting for pairing: The master earbud’s blue light flashes quickly, other earbud’s light goes off.

- Low battery: Two blue light flashes once.
Recover Default Setting
- Delete “Boult Audio Maverick” pairing record from your mobile phone.
- When earbuds are on and are unconnected, tap on the MFT three times to clear pairing data. When you do that, the light will flash and then power off.
- Put the earbuds back in the charging case and close the lid. Follow the steps mentioned in “Bluetooth pairing” to reconnect and use.
Other Functions
- Timeout not connected: The earbuds will turn off if you don’t connect the device within 5 minutes.
- Bluetooth Disconnect: After successful pairing, if the Bluetooth of your device is turned off or the effective Bluetooth distance (10M in the barrier-free environment) is exceeded, the Bluetooth will be disconnected.
