  1. Open the main power switch, and keep the status of urgent stop and pop-up.
  2. Turn the general control knob to “1”.
  3. Gradually check whether the upwards and downward phase sequence of each hoist is consistent respectively. The methods are as follows:
  4. Turn the “Inch” and “Relay” knobs to “Inch”.
  5. Turn the No. 1 hoist rotary switch to “↑” (up), and then press the start button, and check whether the operation is normal.
  6. Check whether the upwards and downwards moving direction of all hoists is the same as per the same method gradually.
  7. Independently regulate a hoist as per the same method above.
  8. For synchronous lifting, please ensure the consistency of the phase sequence of the hoists, with the method as follows:
  9. Up: Turn the rotary switches of all hoists to “↑” (up), select “Inch” or “Relay” and press Start key (Inch requires pressing the Start key all the time and releasing the Start key to stop Inch; for Relay, press the Start key to enable the hoist to start to move and turn “Inch” and “Relay” rotary knobs to the middle positions to stop “Relay”) successively.
  10. Down: Turn the rotary switches of all hoists to “↓” (down), select “Inch” or “Relay” and select Stop at the designated position.
  11. Down: When the phase sequences of all hoists to go up are consistent, if the general rotary knob can be directly turned from “1” to “2”, long press the Start key under “Inch” mode and go down directly under “Relay” mode and select Stop at the designated position.
  12. When all hoists are displayed as Up, but move down, please inspect whether the phase sequence of the general incoming power line in the aviation plug is correct (only reverse any two of three live wires).
  13. If only one hoist moves in the direction opposite to others, the phase sequence of the extension wire of this hoist is incorrect. Please inspect and reverse the phase sequence.

Precautions

Overhaul

Daily inspection: Before starting daily operation, please first check the following items

  • (A) Power supply; Whether the voltage is normal
  • (B) Test “up and “down” functions under non-load status.
  • Whether the motor can operate normally.
  • Whether there is abnormal or excessive noise.
  • Whether the lower hook safety tongue can work normally.
  • Whether the lower hoist can be smoothly rotated for 360° or whether the movable parts and limit switch as well as brake function are normal.
  • Whether the chain is under good lubrication conditions.
  • Whether the chain bag can be correctly installed.
  • Whether the electric wire pulley and power line are fixed, and whether the sliding is smooth.

Monthly periodic inspection

  • (A) Chain inspection:
If the chain is stretched, deformed, or worn, abnormal meshing with the transmission chain wheel will occur, which may cause chain breakage or abjection, and further cause damage to the hoist body.
In case of finding the following conditions, replace the chain:
1. The inseam length of the chain (P) is worn and the extension exceeds 5% of the value listed in the table.
2. Chain diameter (d) abrasion is less than the value listed in the table (abrasion reaching above 10% of the nominal diameter).

When the chain abrasion is big, please be sure to confirm the abrasion conditions of the chain wheel and chain guide wheel.

  • (B) Hoist inspection:
Fail to follow regulations while hoisting, exceeding the load standard, and causing hook opening. Replacement is required when the hook opening exceeds 5% of the original opening value.

  • (C) Limit switch inspection (which shall be executed by a qualified electrical technician):
Check whether the limit switch can operate normally, and after clearing objects inside the limit guide groove, apply a thin layer of lubricating oil, to ensure normal operation.

  • (D) Tighten screws for the power supply around the hoist.

Safety device, mechanical class, and service life

Electromagnetic brake

Electromagnetic brake is a unique brake design. It is featured by the immediate brake even when the power cuts off under full load.

Mechanical load brake

Mechanical load brake can ensure a slow decrease of speed under full load. Besides, it is independent of the electromagnetic brake. Even if the electromagnetic brake fails, the mechanical auxiliary brake can still slowly decrease the speed of the hoisted object.

Hook and safety tongue

The hook is made of high-tensile steel, and can meet intensity demand after thermal treatment; The lower hook can be rotated horizontally for 360°, and equipped with safety tonnage, to ensure hoisting safety.

  • Reserve protector (which is only restricted to the suspension type of the engineering)
The circuit design of the reserve protector can ensure and avoid wrong phase connection of motor power, and prevent the motor from burning out.

  • Limit switch (which is only restricted to the suspension type of the engineering)
Automatic power off when the electric hoist ascends and descends to the limit switch.

  • Emergency stop switch (optional)

    • This button is used to stop the hoist during emergencies. It is a red and mushroom-shaped button located at the top of the switch controller When pressing down the button, the power will be cut off, and the button will be blocked automatically. Rotate clockwise to release the button, and then restart the hoist. Mechanical level and service life
    • The service life and security of the electric chain hoist is ensured based on the operation under the following operating level.
