Appliance installation and ventilation

  • Place the appliance on a stabile, flat, smooth and dry surface.
  • Never place the appliance on a combustible surface (such as textiles, carpet, etc.).
  • Do not place the induction cooker on a metal surface.
  • Keep the minimum clearance of 10 cm from walls or other objects.
  • Make sure that the power cord is not damaged or pressed under the appliance, and is not lying on sharp edges, hot or wet surfaces.

Meaning of light/sound signals and codes on the display

  • I ndicator light is flashing – the required function can be set;
  • Indicator light is steadily lit – the function is on;
  • 1 beep = connection to the mains; switching on; operation confirmation; change in the settings;
  • Beeps every two seconds – cookware has been removed from the cooker; when an error code appears.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION

The induction cooker is equipped with overheating protection function. If the top plate becomes overheated (with empty pot or pan put on it), a long sound signal will sound. It will automatically shut off after several minutes of cooking. Switch off the appliance, disconnect it from electric power and let it cool down.
If overheating occurs, i.e. if you (contrary to operation manual) heat up an empty pot or a pan made from low-quality material with insufficient deformation resistance, the aforementioned protection may not react correctly. The appliance top plate may be irreversibly damaged.
